What subreddit are you trying in specific where no tags appear / what (edition) browser are you using? I understand that custom CSS for certain places breaks tags but I can't reproduce it "not working at all" without more detail. Or did you perhaps not notice that this extension is for and only for old.reddit, not the new one? I can probably look into it once I get time if you make a post on the github issues page.
