When I click "Display OneTab" it never loads. I can't find any way to access my saved tabs.

Third time I've used this add-on and yet again it has deleted months of multiple saved sessions.

How can this add-on be listed as "Recommended" by Mozilla when it is fatally destructive to users workflows because it is so unstable? It should be removed entirely until the creators fix this glaring failure.

I have saved hundreds of bookmarks in Firefox for over 10 years and they haven't randomly disappear, so why can't OneTab write an add-on fit for purpose?

About every time you go to a new release of your browser, you take the chance ONETAB WILL LOSE EVERY ONE OF YOUR URL'S YOU GAVE THEM AS THERE IS NO RECOVER process if you have to create a new "profile". There is NO BACKUP. "EXPORTING" them is no protection as they do not let you recover, tell you where they are stored.... Since I used to use it, about every year or two, I lose them all due to no backup, etc. JUST DO NOT DEPEND ON ONE TAB to take care of them. Find another way. In a perfect world, they might be ok.

An error cause can't export or import any tabs.
Sync open or delete not work too.

I decided to use OneTab and it seemed to word, BUT when I went to open the tabs they were NOT THERE!
I would not this software unless you want to LOOSE all your tabs!

Your plugin killed almost all my tabs. I had about 130. After click on link 'Restore all' were restored only 4. Then I'm tried to restore them all with Ctrl+Shift+T it helped me to restore another 20 tabs. And that's all. OneTab by default delete it history after 'restore' tabs as you know. I'm furious....

Yeah I can totally see how "information about my tabs is never transmitted", because as we all know, sharing things with Google is as good as not sharing them at all.

Come on guys, Google will only know exactly which sites you visit. Not which specific file you're looking at. Don't be so picky.

What a load of absolute BS.

The default behaviour of sharing tab history is clearly a glaring oversight of the team. Intentionally infringing on privacy or not, the feature is obviously a privacy issue that needs to be addressed.

@dev-team,
1. can users who've perhaps unwittingly shared their tab history delete them if they lose access to the computer that they used to create them?
2. can users easily see a list of all the tab lists they've shared?
3. do the shared links ever expire? Is there a default expiry?

Would be a really useful extension if it didn't crash repeatedly. It doesn't crash very often, but you can almost guarantee it will be when you really need it.

I also want to warn potential/current users of OneTab sharing your data to Google when you use the "share as web page" feature

Cannot get it to work. Can't open xpi file to even try. Needs to be more user friendly.

5-10-25: SLOW to load.Cannot deal with long tab lists. You must MANUALLY click and past tab list to file because it will disappear on cache clear even if "locked"
5-9-25::DOES NOT WORK ON BRAVE WITH WIN 8X
Lost several important tabs trying to save them using this extension. WIth the message "has to be reloaded"-should read reloaded after our crap addon deletes them . Not good. ALso said I must update my browser brave which is not that old. Try updating your addon code so it's not so flaky slow and unresponsive.
4-24-25: not being actively developed no improvements. still slow and unresponsive. You have to manually save the taps cuz they will be deleted on browser cache clears.
3-27-25: SLOOWWWtoo slow to respond. no easy way to save nor edit bookmark tabs. system cache clears all your tabs you THOUGHT were "locked" (bull).
1-27-25: works pretty good but lacks essential features:
entries won't survive cache clears even if "locked". No way to organize and easily edit urls. Slow to load sometimes won't requiring reinstall or reload.
10-10-24: still good not perfect but pretty good.
aug, 2024: it's gotten much better. Recommended
Sept 2022: It's gotten better but the thing that remains that is really annoying is that it won't load the saved urls automatically and you have to disable and re-enable it to get the saved urls to load. The problem with the auto opening of the tabs has been resolved in their settings, so that is not an issue now. But I am sick and tired of having to disable and re-enable it to get it to load on command. I dont' want AUTO load but I do want them to load when I issue the command.

June, 2022: It's gotten better, easier to use. On some browsers such as epic, it will not auto activate and you have to disable and reenable to get it to show. Need a better way to save the tabs when it goes haywire. Should have an auto setting to automatically lock the tabs.

Demoted this add on to ONE STAR.
It acts like trojan or malware and opens a second FFOX window without user input and with setting set to open tab only, ignores the setting and opens a new window. Reported as malware.
mostly disabled it. Breaks Loads whether you ask it to or not and then breaks your vpn or music connection in doing so. Seems pretty obvious they are messing with your other browsing connections. It's only good for one thing, that is if you have to open many URLS and don't want to bother pressing the keys to make a book mark. I consider this spyware. Don't know why mozilla recommends it, but they must have low standards.

I have had some 120+ tabs open, many of them having its own history of a few pages visited. After using OneTab, I've lost the history behind each individual tab...

I hate this add-on, because of this oneTab my unsaved code is lost. My two days work!

I thought this would be a great solution for all my tabs. I clicked the icon and watched all my tabs close. Then I got this error: Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

So it seems there are limitations that are not noted in the description. I have emailed the team for tech help, but am assuming my tabs are gone (even with recovery in place with Firefox, I could not seem to get that particular window of tabs restored). Incredibly disappointed in this add-on, and now instead of saving time, I am wasting time trying to figure out recovery. Lesson learned. :(

out of sudden stopped working.

Worked great. In the last month stopped working. Today lost all my tabs I had been curating. I will never use another tab manager that doesn't allow me to sign in to restore tabs in case of problems.
