Privacy Policy for Quick Tools Proxy
Quick Tools Proxy does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to the developer or any third party. All extension data — including saved proxy configurations, screenshot links, custom user-agent lists, and feature settings — is stored locally on your device using the browser's built-in storage and is never sent to an external server.
Permissions and why they're needed

Proxy: to configure and switch browser proxy settings you choose.
Host permissions (all URLs) / webRequest / declarativeNetRequest: to apply your proxy settings, block ads/trackers, and enable the link opener and screenshot tools across any site you visit.
Tabs: to open, manage, and capture the tabs you interact with through the extension's tools.
Downloads: to save screenshots you capture to your device.
Storage: to save your settings and data locally between sessions.
browsingData: to let you optionally clear browsing data on demand from within the extension.
Scripting: to run the screenshot and page-tool features on the pages you choose to use them on.
Alarms: to support scheduled/automated features like timed screenshots.
webRequestAuthProvider: to support authenticated proxy connections when required
Third-party servers
The extension performs a brief network connectivity check against a public Google endpoint (gstatic.com/generate_204) when testing a proxy connection. No personal or browsing data is included in this request. When you use a proxy you've configured, your traffic is routed through that proxy server as normal — this is standard proxy behavior and not data collection by this extension.
Data sharing
We do not sell, share, or transmit any user data to third parties, since no user data leaves your device in the first place.
Children's privacy
This extension is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published with the corresponding extension update.
