Short version: Ragebait Assessor has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no servers of its own. Everything runs in your browser.

YOUR SCREENSHOTS
Without a Gemini API key (demo mode): nothing leaves your device. Results are built-in samples, not real analysis.

With your own Gemini API key: when you press the assess button, the screenshot you chose (and any context you typed) is sent directly from your browser to Google's Gemini API to produce the analysis. The developer never receives it and does not store it. Google handles the data under its own terms. On Google's free tier, data may be used to improve Google's products, so avoid screenshots that contain private information.

WHAT IS STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
- Your Gemini API key and model name
- Your theme choice (light or dark)
- Your recent results, as text only (screenshots are never saved)
When you use "Assess this page", the capture is held briefly so the assessor tab can read it, then it is removed.
All of this stays in your browser. You can erase it at any time with the "Clear my data" button in the API key box.

PERMISSIONS AND WHY
- storage: remembers your settings and history
- activeTab: captures the visible tab only when you click "Assess this page"
- generativelanguage.googleapis.com: the only website the extension talks to, used for analysis when you have added a key

OTHER PEOPLE'S INFORMATION
Screenshots often contain other people's names and messages. Only analyze what you are comfortable with, blur names before sharing any result, and do not use this extension to harass anyone. Results are entertainment, not proof of anyone's intentions.
