Data Collection and Processing

User Input: When you select text on a webpage, the extension sends it to AI services for processing.
Built-in AI: When using the free built-in AI service, your selected text is sent to our backend server for AI processing.
Custom AI: You can also configure your own API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, MiniMax, Zhipu AI, etc.). When using a custom AI provider, text is sent directly to that provider.
API Keys: User-provided API keys are stored locally in your browser and are never transmitted to our servers.


Data Storage

Local Storage: API keys and user preferences are stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local.
Account Data: When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and password (hashed) for authentication purposes only.
Usage Records: We store usage logs including the AI model used, input/output character count, request latency, and status for service management and quota tracking.
Feedback: When you submit feedback or suggestions, we may collect your contact information for follow-up purposes.


Third-Party Disclosure

When using the built-in free AI service, text is processed through our backend service. When using a custom AI provider, text is sent directly to the provider you configured. Please refer to the respective AI provider's privacy policy for their data handling practices.
Children's Privacy

This extension is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
