"Open in VLC media player" extension works fine except for Live YouTube streams. "Send to VLC (VideoLAN) media player" not working at all.

NodeJS up to date, installed for entire system from nodesource.com, most stable current (23.07.2017) release, version 6.11.1.

Also tried un-installing the system-wide node and using the nodejs included in Linux.zip package provided for extension. It didn't work, either.

VLC is unable to open the MRL 'blob:https://www.youtube.com/etc'. Check the log for details.

where "etc" is diverse videos, both Live streams or regular ones.

VLC 3.0.0-git Vetinari, build August 14, 2016. "Master Daily" version --best so far for my system, it's worked with everything I've tried until today.

Thank you for your efforts, at this point we need something that works reliably with YouTube Live Streams like TV channels.
