It works as expected, the speed can be set with a slider (inside a customizable range), the pitch can be preserved, the speed remains when the next song is played back and last but not least the add-on only requires permission to read data from open.spotify.com and no other permissions are necessary.

Playback speed seems to not be working properly from 11thMay '25. After first listen of a song on a playlist it works fine however, when it goes to the next song in same playlist, the playback speed is returns to 1 but the extension still puts it at 2. Pleaseee fix this!

Could be better with .25x increment buttons/slots.
