Spotting Capture — Privacy Policy

Spotting Capture stores your configured API URL, dashboard URL, public capture key, and selected project locally in the browser (extension storage).

When you submit a bug report, the extension sends data you captured (title, optional description, screenshot, recording, console logs, network log metadata, page URL, and user agent) to the API URL you configured. Spotting Capture does not transmit data to the extension developer unless you point the API URL at a server operated by the developer.

We do not sell user data. Data handling on the server is governed by whoever operates your Spotting instance.
