Privacy Policy
Sweep is a browser extension designed to manage open tabs by automatically discarding inactive ones to reduce memory usage.
Data Collection
Sweep does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All data processed by the extension stays on your device.
The extension accesses tab titles and URLs only to determine which tabs to keep active and which to discard. This information is never transmitted externally.
Tab access timestamps and interaction data are stored locally using browser.storage.local. This data is used solely to calculate tab priority for the unloading algorithm and is never sent outside the browser.
User settings, such as maximum active tabs, inactivity thresholds, and whitelisted domains, are also stored locally using browser.storage.local and are never transmitted.
Third Parties
Sweep does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. No third-party scripts are included.
