Every year while growing up we hung Indian Corn outside the front door for Thanksgiving - It was to bring" The Plenty of the Harvest" to anyone who came in to the home - The only one I ever knew that got "The Plenty of Harvest" was the birds that knocked on the door every time they fed on the corn....
