Web Extensionってやれること激減してるのかなあ。
以前の奴と違ってコレただウィンドウ分割してそれっぽく配置してるだけ。
完全に別もんなので「継続して使いたい」って人には向きません。

The non WE extension works great but this one is not an alternative.
You will miss :
- Tabs arrangement,
- ability to EASILY assign to Tabs,
- keep single ff window with clean and lean interface....

タブをタイル表示するならTile Tabsの名前を使うのは理解できる。
しかし、Tile Tabs Weはタブを複数のウィンドウに分け表示するだけになっているのでTile Windowに名前を変更するべきです。

Why not have it split the tabs within the same window and not open new windows. It is hard to compare other tabs when reviewing products when you have to keep going back and forth and constantly spliting.

Old one was much better, double click and two tabs next to each other would split, this has none of that functionality, off to find something else now.

I loved the original, this is awful. Was one of best things about Firefox, now it's little better than Chrime. Gutted FF have made these changes.

This is no longer a tab application, it is a windowed application. I didn't like the Google version so I used the Firefox version. Now this is going away. This is a Firefox issue not the Add-on developer's issue. Without this great tool, I will go back to Chrome.

Sorry for the low rating. I really wish I could give it a 5* as in previous add-on.

The ability to control click a link into a tab excited me. But it won't save in the options. This is no longer a tab application, it is a windowed application. I didn't like the Google version so I used the Firefox version. Now this is going away. Another addon bites the dust. This is a Firefox issue not the Add-on developer's issue. Without this great tool, I will probably go back to Chrome.

The point was to have tabs split in the same window and switch layouts / tabs within the same browser window.
I can open new windows myself without using this "add-on".

I did not use the 'old but very useful' version a lot but still enough to know that the new WE version is absolutely useless as is. I too want tabs tiled in the same browser window not in separate windows. This change makes the add-on pointless.

At least they didnt abandon the project. They took the first step.

to Developer of the WE version, Thank you for the try but I can resize my browsers without the help of the addon. What we can not do is having multiple tile windows in one browner.

Disappointed like other users of the fine non-WE version - not sure if it's worth keeping. One useful improvement would be ability to save and store specific website combos as was possible before.

This updated version does not work like the old Tile Tabs. Tile Tabs was the reason I was using Firefox. This updated version now works by spitting tabs in to windows, instead of keeping all tiles within a singular window. This could easily be done with a window manager, and no longer serves the needs I have.

This plugin used to be the reason, that I used FireFox, now there is no reason anymore. While I understand, that the changes were triggered by Mozilla, it means, that the plug-in doesn't help me anymore. For similar functionality I could use any kind of OS based windows tools.

Even for just windows oriented "tiling" I can't use it anymore:
- double click on the tab doesn't work anymore
- using new layout moves tabs to another display, therefore unusable in multi display environments.

Guys, if anyone knows if there is anything out there like the old version?
I was using it to view trading charts and the new version is not gonna do it for me.
Mean while I have already downloaded FireFox Portable and installed all add-ons Im using so I can extend using the old one.

Where is "Tile Tabs"? This is better call it "Tile Windows". Damned Firefox 57!

But let me ask you, why the old one still continues to work fine even if it's not compatible?

This is bad. Firefox is having a suicide party for itself and all its developers :(

Seems like I'll be sticking to an obsolete version of Firefox in the future so I can keep the real TileTabs extension and not this... neutered version.
I do not want multiple windows open having to close them one by one when switching programs or whatever reason.
Shame on Firefox Devs or whoever decided this was a good idea, this stuff is what killed opera and many other great apps and programs in the past. Will they ever learn.

I'll keep using TileTABS on an old Firefox version.

Does what it should given the API's available ;)
