   X Screenshot ("the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how the Extension handles user data.
2. Data Collection
   The Extension does NOT collect, store, or transmit any user data.

Specifically:

We do not collect personal information
We do not track your browsing activity
We do not store your screenshots on any server
We do not use analytics or tracking tools
We do not share any data with third parties
3. Data Processing
All screenshot processing happens entirely locally in your browser:

1. Screenshot Capture: The Extension captures the visible area using Chrome's built-in API.
2. Image Processing: The captured image is cropped to the tweet area locally.
3. Local Storage: Screenshots are saved directly to your Downloads folder.
4. Clipboard: Screenshots are copied to your system clipboard.

No data leaves your computer.

1. Permissions
   activeTab: Used only to capture visible content for screenshot creation.
   clipboardWrite: Used to copy captured screenshots to your clipboard.
   Host Permissions (twitter.com/, x.com/): Used only to add UI elements and detect tweets on the page.
2. Data Retention
   The Extension does not retain any data. Screenshots are under your control in your Downloads folder.
