- I'm really glad to see this excellent extension getting an update! For me, one of the biggest hurdles in moving away from Chrome-based browsers has been finding a good dark mode solution. This extension has great potential to remove that hurdle, which is why it's the one I care about the most. The updated modern UI looks fantastic, and I hope more people will discover how great this extension is.

Other than that it works great.Відповідь розробника

A major user interface overhaul is coming soon! In the meantime, the current UI already allows you to exclude sites from being darkened. If you don’t see the extension’s button pinned in your toolbar, it might still be hidden under the puzzle piece (🧩) menu, where newly installed extensions are grouped - Оцінка 5 з 5від Uriy, 2 роки тому

This add-on needs to:
Access browser tabs
Access your data for all websites
UltimaDark:
This add-on needs to:
Clear recent browsing history, cookies, and related data
Access browser tabs
Store unlimited amount of client-side data
Access browser activity during navigation
Access your data for all websites
Indeed fast :) but a lot of permissions needed
works well on telegraaf.nl , better then dark reader.Відповідь розробника

Clearing the cache is done on key moments (such as updating settings ) specifically to prevent loading unedited resources, ensuring consistent dark mode application across websites.
While UltimaDark might perform better than other tools, such as Dark Reader, on certain websites (e.g., telegraaf.nl), it’s worth noting that Dark Reader is developed by a team of over 40 developers and more than 1300 contributors, whereas UltimaDark is free and still the result of a solo effort. - Оцінка 5 з 5від Користувач Firefox 18678457, 2 роки тому

Dark mode quality of UltimaDark is certainly sufficient and websites load fast with it. So glad I found it. Especially since the rest of dark mode addons seem abandoned. So thank you so very much ThomazPom for this great addon.

Other then a few websites most other visual bugs are minor and this add-on is very usable even on it current version, of course further development is much appreciated, Thank you ThomazPom!!

Edit: I edited my review because the extension has good support and attention from the developer.Відповідь розробника
оприлюднено 2 роки томуThank you for bringing this to our attention. The issue affecting these sites was caused by an update aimed at enhancing the support for more websites. It was an unintended mistake, not a fundamental bug. We’re addressing it, and a fix has been released in version 1.6.6.
