good to quick downloads

I have to agree with most people, before Firefox v.57, this add-on was absolutely amazing. I rarely had any problem with it, and I could always find a work-around if the video I was looking for wasn't able to be downloaded on this add-on. I just had to use another mirror and that's it.

Since Firefox v.57, well, it got knocked-out pretty hard.

It's still managable, but the UI is not as appealing then before. It's hard to figure out which link is what, I happened to download 3 ads instead of the video I wanted... the easiest solution is just download every link and remove the wrong video afterwards, which is kind of not efficient, but it still works. Nevertheless, it's annoying and disappointing. I know you are currently working on making it availiable on other popular browser and you're trying to make some hotfix but Firefox is being a meanie with you and all.

I won't be as harsh as other people because this add-on still work! It's a bit more of a task management... but it works.

If you manage to rebuild the AVD into what it was before, it would deserve it's 5 stars and beyond, until then, I can only afford 3.

You probably already thought this through but maybe starting from scratch? Sometimes it helps.

Best luck for you, hopefully it will rain down 5 stars on this add-on in a near future.

I don't like being bumped to a new page now. I preferred the drop down list. I also don't like that I cannot tell what most of the things that I see on the new page are now.

allucinante!!! una persona si aspetta migliorie dalle nuove versioni, invece si ritrova uno scarsissimo sostituto. tra l'altro anche installando la vecchia versione non la puoi usare perchè ritenuta obsoleta, le nuove versioni inseritele dopo attente prove anche l'interfaccia utente non è chiara.. mi dispiace ma cambierò motore di ricerca

Really sad to see the old version gone. This one is idiotic to say the least...... PITA to use.
Last version was so well done. Simple and easy to use. Can't understand why the change.

It was the best the way it was. Just needed to update if for FF v57.

Oh well now off to search for something better.

wow this downloader has hit rock bottom. Barely supports youtube videos and only download format is webm. I use online downloaders now, at least I can get the videos in a format that is decent and not have to download other crap to make it work. Very disappointed in ANT, thought you would work harder to make a decent replacement.

My most favourite add-on is going down down down, what happened? Oh no why this is happening to me? Please bring the old addon back in the new version of firefox........otherwise there is no use to it.

The older version was so much better, one click and the video download started. Now it's very complicated, i hope your team will fix it. Some of the people here say it's a waste of time and WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? Yeah thats right, we are getting more and more used to it that something that has worked great and was a super program getting bader and bader and shittier, but i hope you will make it in the old way and it will work with Firefox 57 like it did in the past. Sometimes the past was better.

for some reason i can no longer download videos

This used to be a very good downloader with simple one click downloading from the same screen you wanted to save things from. Now it opens a new page full of links to every tab you have open and most of the time the files don't work once you have them. I'm not sure why, but they decided to make their product unusable. I'm searching for a new video downloader no if anyone has suggestions.
