Need external component, which i don't find reasonable.

This program sucks, the interface is total garbage, it installs a program on your computer that is suspiciously named/difficult to remove and it has a massive paywall to prevent the videos from having a watermark on them.

This use to be a great add-on but is completely useless now. The recently posted positive post have to be fake.

The video downloader is great. Works as its suppose to and so far I have had no problems.

Неплохое расширение. Скачивает многие файлы, но, к сожалению, не все и не с первого раза. Часто бывает с ошибками скачивает, и файл не открывается. Или вместо видео файла только аудио файл скачивается и тот криво скачивается без возможности перемотки. Иногда приходиться повозиться, чтобы скачать файл.

After installing this addon i was hopeful, but when I tried downloading a video I said I needed to install an additional application from their website. This seemed a little iffy from a security perspective. The addon itself may have passed Mozilla's basic security stuff, but what about the extra file. The whole thing seemed very odd so i uninstalled.

This is very useful, it can download many movies from sites that do not have easy downloads themselves

updates over past year - awesome
now does a much BETTER job on sites like watchfighters or TennisTV which had required an average performance but expensive subscription service - which I now never use even though my sub is paid to Nov 2025

The best and still the most used of all video download add-ons I've tried over many years. Two newer helpers on my web page are rarely used.

When it is only YouTube sites, and I have a laundry list of items, its worthwhile to use something like HD Video Converter or such, which is also helpful when the YouTube site has a wide range of quality and formats avail ... doing it one by one you're more prone to making a wrong selection...

Leider bietet der Entwickler kreditkartenzahlung nur über einen Zahlungsdienst (Dritter) an, der mir völlig unbekannt ist.

Ich soll dort meine E-Mail-Adresse und Kreditkartendaten eingeben. Sorry, das ist ein absolutes No-Go für mich.

Bitte erwägen Sie eine andere Option für eine Spende oder eine Rückkehr zu PayPal. Wikipedia kann das ja auch.

An excellent tool that I often use and which I would like to support with a donation.

Unfortunately, the developer only offers credit card payment via a payment service (third-party) that is completely unknown to me.

I should enter my e-mail address and credit card details there. Sorry that's an absolutely no-go for me.

Please consider another option for a donation or return to PayPal. Wikipedia, after all, can do that, too.
