easy to use, works well

Have been using this add on for past several years now. One of the good ones out there with wide range of supporting formats and stable download.

An easy tool to use to download media files.

Raramente trava. Boa velocidade

very good

it is the best one for getting video from the internet
I hope it will be available to other browsers

Over the years, I have tried quite a few programs for downloading online videos. Most of them work sometimes but not always. So I kept trying until I found DownloadHelper more or less accidentally.
DownloadHelper has not let me down at all. It takes two clicks only to start a video download, the speed is limited only to my rather narrow local bandwidth which is a specific German problem. The download is faster than the actual display on screen and it even continues if you change websites.
Firefox displays an optical indicator of download progress or, alternatively, a detailed screen with pertinent data.
So far I am using DownloadHelper all the time.

es rapido yconciso

The product works great - you can go watch a streaming video on the internet and you can save it to your computer, so you can watch it all you want without being connected to the internet after that. However, it's kind of a joke when you're trying to figure out how to use it - it is so illogical (to me anyway, I'm only a computer geek) that I have had to reduce myself to just clicking things and seeing what happens. When it doesn't work, you just have to go back and start all over again. No biggie. It's not like I have a life or anything. Then, with no warning, they occasionally upgrade you to a new version that doesn't work like the one you had finally figured out, so you have to learn how to use it all over again. (They say "congratulations!" and inside you're thinking, well, I can't use those words in this review). On the plus side, it does exactly what you want, once you figure it out - you can save a video you're streaming to a file on your computer and watch it all you want later. Video DownloadHelper is very good at that, and as far as I can see they are head and shoulders above anyone else. That last bit is what truly matters.

Best Add-On Ever.... I use it All the time-

Mr. B

Easy to use, but now addicional app is required and I have not administrator rights :(

reference

good tyool. works most of the time

Quero agradecer aos idealizadores deste software/extensão do Mozilla, pois os downloads feitos de vídeos me possibilitaram melhor preparar aulas para meus alunos; Posso rever os vídeos off line (Em vários momentos não tive acesso ao ciberespaço). Muito grato !!

Great add-on as it works fine on most websites, but I have just one complaint: the pop-up content gets truncated due to the maximum width limitation of Firefox's overflow menu. Please make it responsive.
