Very useful and well-functioning app. there may be better ones, but so far i'm definitely happy with it.

downloads videos which many other extensions and apps could never download. requires an installation in some cases

Best for downloading videos with audio, but on Mozilla Firefox, you have to pay a premium on Chrome.

Works great. Mostly even on YT. Very helpful. Thanx

VDH is a versatile tool to download videos from many, many sites. It gets used almost every day for me, and is indispensible to save many health-related podcasts and webinars to review later. Highly recommended as an add-on.

works almost everywhere. Easy to use!

Youtube keeps trying to stop people from being able to download their videos, and this team keeps updating the software to allow the downloading to work. The speed with which this team responded so far this year (2025) has been impressive.

great tool, but hoped to work on Ticktok

I watch anime, and the site I use authorizes downloading but doesn't provide a way to do it. Video DownloadHelper works perfectly for that!

Top Add-on. Funktioniert tadellos und einfache Bedienung

Been using VDH for over a decade now. This is one add on I would be lost without! Great for students and music lovers. Always up to date and never fails me. It's on my "must have" list. Thank you VDH for being there!

i think it download most of the videos from most of the sites

Great help to save exercises and health information - thanks!

Beta has been working great. the first program I installed had some problems. Double titles where second download would be the same title even though its was a different video causing renaming .

It's an excellent tool to download videos from youtube...
