The new version feels like a slap in the face. In exchange for a slightly more modern user interface you have severely limited the functionality of the extension and have essentially taken away the ability for the user to configure the extension to their liking. I Have rolled back to the the last update before this and have disabled updates. Im not sure if this downgrade and reduced funtionality was done due to pressure from Google, or new management, or greed but it is very disappointing. I will begin looking into alternatives to this extension that has served me well for over 5 years. Please reconsider this new direction, this feels insulting.

WAS a great add-on, but last update has made it unusable. Now looking for a replacement.

Antes era una de las mejores, ahora hay que esperar dos horas para descargar otro vídeo si no pagas. A veces no funciona. (Mejor alternativa: ytdlp.online)

Don´t know what they changed but the app worked fine yesterday and doesn´t work at all.

Puts a giant watermark on the downloaded videos, uninstalled.

Version 10 is completely broken. Had to revert to the old one. V10 cannot download any large videos, esp. with typical free streaming servers which often have network issues. The older versions can deal with that (not perfectly, but eventually it works). There are lots more new bugs. And I really don't need the UI to be redesigned all the time, esp. when that breaks the most important feature.

Ce n'est pas la première fois que je modifie mon évaluation et de nouveau pour une MàJ qui ne sert à rien hormis dérouter les utilisateurs. Cette MàJ n'est ni plus ni moins qu'un retour en arrière et pas franchement réussi. Mais pourquoi donc casser une extension qui fonctionne bien par une bouse sortie d'on se sait où? Que diable a-t-il pris au développeur de faire une telle MàJ ? Il y aurait un quota de MàJ à publier quitte à retirer une version qui fonctionne bien? Pour ma part, je reviens à la version précédente et je bloque les MàJ en attendant des jours meilleurs.

This is not the first time that I have changed my evaluation and again for an update that serves no purpose except to confuse users. This update is nothing more or less than a step backwards and not really successful. But why break an extension that works well with a dung from who knows where? What the hell did it take for the developer to do such an update? Would there be a quota of updates to be published, even if it means removing a version that works well? For my part, I"m going back to the previous version and I"m blocking the updates while waiting for better days.

Das ist so mies das ihr mir mit neuesten Update die neue Benutzeroberfläche aufgezwungen habt. Aus diesem Grund habe die Erweiterung wieder auf Version 9.5.0.2 zurückgestuft und habe die automatischen Updates für diese Erweiterung untersagt. So kann ich weiterhin bei der Legacy Benutzeroberfläche bleiben. Man ist den Entwicklern von Erweiterungen hilflos ausgeliefert. Es wäre viel besser gewesen die neue Benutzeroberfläche weiterhin optional zu lassen. Die neue Benutzeroberfläche ist nicht Nutzerfreundlich und der neue dunkle Modus wiegt dies auf keinen Falls auf. Deswegen habe ich meine Bewertung auf einen Stern reduziert. Das ist eine Frechheit sondergleichen wie Nutzer behandelt werden die weiterhin die Legacy Benutzeroberfläche benutzen wollen. Ich kann jedem nur raten der nicht einverstanden ist mit der neuen Benutzeroberfläche zur vorherigen Version zurückzukehren und die automatischen Updates zu untersagen. In Version 9.5.0.2 ist die neue Benutzeroberfläche nämlich noch optional. Ich werde mir niemals von einem Entwickler aufzwingen lassen was ich nicht will.

V10 is absolute garbage. It removed very well working options, like downloading in browser for an options hidden, non configurable, unstable, just all in all bad programm.

Had 27 of my first 30 downloads in V10 be unusuable!

Just use 9.5. That one actually works and if you use the download in browser function you can resume downloads when they get interrupted, which you CAN NOT in the new version!
Any slight hicucp and the file is ruined.

The v10 update wants a new permission: locks on all open tabs - something like that, but that's too many permissions. Thanks, but no, I'm staying on v9.

you should write a blog post "how to eff-up a pretty good downloader in one update" I noted this change earlier in the chromium browsers like Brave etc, Yesterday the same crud was pushed into Firefox. I don't understand the thinking, it's awful, going backwards in functionality (apparently) I've removed the five stars I put up not long after this addon first appeared and replaced it with this. Looks like the number of decent downloaders gets even smaller. Remove it and put the earlier one back up

As others have stated, version 10 came with a fresh coat of paint and widescale destruction of previously working functionality. I, and many others have had to downgrade until these issues are fixed.

Guys... you have a beta testing branch. Isn't this the kind of stuff that should be staying there, until it's actually functional?

The author of this extension. You're asking too much, buddy. Not only does the author ask you to install the program on your computer, but he also asks for too many permissions. With this kind of success, I might as well just use the built-in software from the graphics card manufacturer and simply record the screen. Or use free software to record any signal source in two clicks. Unfortunately, this is one of the worst extensions for Firefox. This buddy even asks for money.

Hate the new update. It's clunky and difficult to manage. Many options are just gone. Please revert.
