Completely useless. Had to install extra software just for it to work, and then once I'd done that, it slaps a massive QR code on the downloaded video.

Hasn't been updated, but seems to have included a timed plan to spring on people to force payment with a QR code watermark now. Scammy crap.

If you had a patreon or Kofi I certainly would have chipped in a few dollars as thanks. But this makes it completely unusable. So no, screw you, and bring back the older version.

I'm joining the ever increasing crowd of people downgrading their rating of this now useless app. Used to be great and easy to use. Then a watermark and conversion tool required at a price for high quality downloads. Lo-res was still available. Now you cannot download at any quality without the intrusive watermark. But the straw that broke the camel's back for me is that now every download is in German.

Lame. You can download almost no videos with the free version. Always need a (paying) companion. I forgot why a ditched it, now i remember...

One star for having to use a third party program to have to download, and then he pulled the rug on everyone and put a big QR code in the videos saying you have to buy it now, it's a scam.

Puts a huge QR Code on a downloaded video, asking for you to get a license. Use FOSS Software, not this repackaged junk.

This used to be a really good addon. It has become adware apparently with a big qr code added to any downloaded video. I however never got that far to notice since it crashes every tab that is showing a stream that is widevine drm protected after a while, even when you're not using it. When I found this addon to be the culprit I just uninstalled it. There are better alternatives.

This now adds a big fat QR code to all downloaded videos, because it wants you to pay for a converter. Just one problem: I didn't ask it to convert anything, just download. I've used this for years, but now I got a train ride ahead of me and all my videos are 20% QR code.

Absolute bait extension.
Donwloaded it, tried to use, asked for a third party program.
Then after installing the program, about 40% of the video it downloaded was a huge QRcode = video is half gone, want no QRcode? pay up, nah...
Ty no ty., I'd rather download the ocasional video manually.

Why is Mozilla allowing this bait and switch application here? You install the extension and then after a few working downloads it starts trying to get my to install a binary on my machine.

Freeware/adware as of 2025. Requires external companion app (CoApp) to download videos which itself injects a watermark with link to payment for removal. Ever since this change the extension rarely gets updated

Complete scam. Super simple Firefox addon now tries to nickle-and-dime users by crippling the download functionality with a big honkin' QR code plastered across it. Steer clear of this one and get one of the others that are actually free.
