Very useful addon - using for almost 6 yrs. . Sometimes, we want to download a video for offline viewing & it works with almost all sites. For some sites, it requires to install a local app (vdo**) on my computer, which is OK & transparent. If our script-blocker & antivirus is fine, then it's a safe experience downloading videos when we need sometimes.

NOT WORTH IT. NEVER WORKS. YOU DON'T GET 1080 AT ALL. NO HDMI. DOESN'T DOWNLOAD ANYTHING AFTER A COUPLE DOWNLOADS. I GOT 5 NO 4 THEN IT STOPPED. IT SHOWS LIKE IT WILL DOWNLOAD. THEN IT STOPS AND CHANGES TO ANOTHER AREA. THEN WHEN YOU SWITCH IT BACK. IT STARTS ALL OVER AGAIN. SO YOU NEVER FINISH A DOWNLOAD. I ONLY GOT 5 BEFORE NO MORE DOWNLOADS WERE ABLE TO FINISH. ! DON'T WAIST YOUR TIME.

I downloaded 200 videos thanks to the plug-in. It is efficient and simple to use. I also use the "copy the url of the media" fonction when I when to download radio potcasts.

This extension forces me to install a companion application on my device that cannot be verified and may contain malicious code.

Trouble-free, simple, almost invisible; there's a companion app for use on some troublesome websites (e.g. YouTube), but the extension works on most by itself and does everything I expect and nothing I don't. The companion app is trouble-free too, once it's installed. If you want quick 'n' dirty, this is a quick one that's pretty darn clean to boot.

This is the best Video capture tool I'v come across. I use it over many different websites (though occasionally with no sound) however better that any others I'v used over the years!
