X Video Downloader does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind. Settings are stored locally on your device via browser.storage.local and never leave it.

The add-on passively reads Twitter's GraphQL API responses to discover video files. Its only outgoing request is an optional lookup of public tweet metadata from cdn.syndication.twimg.com (sent without cookies), used only when you click download and the video data wasn't already seen. Actual video downloads are performed by Firefox's own download manager, directly from Twitter's servers.
