As of a few months ago, whenever I click onto a new video the view count and date of upload carries over and stacks with the next one. Has been a very annoying issue and can only be fixed by refreshing the page. Not a big deal at all but very annoying, hopefully it will be fixed soon. A nearly perfect extension with just one flaw.

I'm going to give this extension 4 stars because, I use it and like it a lot, it's great and I hope they continue to improve it, but I cant give this 5 stars because; I'm writing this review to raise awareness to a huge bug that's been making the experience for this extension way worse. You see, for some reasons when I click on another video using this extension, it keeps the date of upload and view count of the previous videos. In fact, if I don't refresh the page, it just piles and piles on the upload dates and view counts until there are 10 different view counts that reach the other end of the page, and 10 different dates of upload listed below the video. Please fix this. Other than that, cool extension

been using it for a few months, worked great up until today, but now the bar below the video is broken (likes formatted oddly, can't view description, channel icon completely gone)

YouTube Redux is a wonderful extension that allows me to enjoy YouTube while not having to put up with it's bad newer UI design! There are a few features I'd add, such as being able to hide the newer meaningless additions YouTube placed under video descriptions, but the main reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it has yet to be updated to re-support Return YouTube Dislikes after YouTube's recent update.

the icons on the tabs are often either missing or do not correspond to what I chose in the settings

It would be great if it could work for SUBSCRIPTION PAGE not just main ;<

I like this program! It lets me experience old Youtube again! My only complaint is that the Shuffle Button on playlists gets removed with this extension. If you can make that an option to enable/disable that, that would be great!

This extension is extremely amazing, but what gets on my nerves is the double scrollbar bug, for some reason this only happens on firefox, so i dont really know the issue here

Amazing extension, a lifesaver, couldn't stand the new YouTuber layout, only two small things bother me:

-I use Enhancer for YouTube with the default option " Place controls within a control bar " so the options clip inside the description box while in default view

-A small misalignment issue with the "Up next" tab and the description while in theater mode

Other than that, no issues, works wonderfully

its really good at replicating old layout and i love using it, but it has some cons:
- it gets laggy after some time
- sometimes videos repeat or skip when on playlists

A very good addon, but it needs an update after a new ui

YouTube is now so much more usable, with a customizable interface based on the older (superior) design. I use this alongside Unhook which provides a super clean and legible YT experience, highly recommended. It also works beautifully with dark mode!

However, the settings window for the extension is basically broken, it does not display properly, the UI does not scale to the window size and half of it is beyond the edge where it cannot be accessed. The only way I can change the settings is when the extension auto-updates, which opens a new tab with all of the configuration options. This new tab system is also pretty annoying when it interrupts whatever I was doing, but is neccessary for changing any settings for me.

YT has done something else now; CC is now turned on by default, and all the controls to the right of the videos (including the CC button) have completely disappeared! I really hope you'll be fixing this soon!

Currently broken for me, worked flawlessly a few days ago. Looks like Youtube screwed around with their stuff again.

The only reason I got this addon was to remove the scrolling while in full-screen, and this addon does exactly that which is amazing. Only addon I've found that does that. There are a few changes this add-on makes that I don't care for however, like making the channel icons square instead of circle when watching a video. And I have disabled all the settings (minus true fullscreen). Overall really like this feature of the add-on, just wish I could disable the rest of the changes, but not a huge deal tbh. Thanks for making this :)

Really wish I had this extension years ago! When they made the thumbnails huge, it limited a lot of what I could see on the home screen without scrolling. Also love that I can make the like/dislike bar green and red again!

I'd like to see an option that restores the numbered videos on playlists, the load more button on playlists and search results, and a dark mode for the home page and comments. But I'm really impressed with what this already does!

I am missing the full screen, settings and subtitles buttons, also the mini preview window is under the time toolbar, i can only see half of it, only temporary fix is going fullscreen and back, hope you can fix it next update

edit: I am using noscript and ublock, not sure if it's other extensions causing conflict, but the latest updates messed it up more, settings stays on the far right which is not visible, now even the temporary fix doesnt work. Tried changing YT language or region as you suggested, doesnt work either.

It's great! A fantastic modification to bring back some nostalgia of better times.

My only complaint is that sometimes favicons don't stay and subtitles have issues, they don't stay on, requiring them to be turned back on, and their settings don't stay between videos. The subtitles also don't scale down past 100% size with the minus key, you have to go into the settings menu. It's annoying to do.

Pretty good, even though it needs some polishing like changing the player and other inconsistencies.
