von deadeyejay, vor einem JahrUsed to be good but recently seems to be poorly moderated, I have seen people who are blatantly trans friendly from one look at their profile marked as red for no reason? Who is approving this? If I can tell a person is trans friendly then a moderator whose job it is to do this definitely can. And if I am doing your job for you and better than you, then I may as well not be using your services.
Hopefully these instances are just a mistake or a dip in quality of moderation which is fixable, but from looking at other reviews it seems to be related to some discourse? Sorry are we in primary school? I do not partake in or follow online queer discourse could you imagine. But to self-sabotage and ruin a good reputation of something marginalised groups rely on as a lifeline in an often volatile and uncertain online sphere, over something as arbitrary as online discourse of all things is beyond petty and childish, it is dangerous and spreading misinformation.
Keep your discourse to reddit ot twitter or whatever people who argue on the internet use, and away from tools that actual adults use to keep themselves safe online. If you cannot moderate your own add-on properly and maturely, then don't bother keeping it up at all because something that is based on trust, fairness and common sense is rendered useless if you cannot be any of those things. Or better yet find someone who can be those things instead. I'm not saying this should be gone, I'm saying it needs someone who will moderate it properly or it may as well be gone. or a better alternative developed.
Not gonna bother using this anymore unless this addressed/fixed, as a queer person I know how to navigate the internet with my own senses and will happily do it again. But persecuted groups are relying on you and you are letting them down and contributing to already rampant harmful misinformation about them, which is the unforgivable part for me. And for what. Fix or I will drop and I hope others do too. Queer people deserve way better than this and way better than you who sells them out over internet drama apparently, along with your own integrity. Sad for queer people and embarrassing for you. Grow up and sort it out.

You really cannot always trust someone who is marked green, but if you are a transfem, you sould really stay away from anyone marked red, no matter how much they whinge about it. Every time I checked, there was good reason to mark them red (participating in mass harassment campaigns, constantly being antifeminist, being friends/mutuals with actual radfems, peddling male/female socialization type rhetoric and other bio-essentialist garbage). 100% of those 1 star reviews are from transmisogynists and it's clear to see. When they talk about radfem trans women, they're not referring to the small minority of transfems who try to recycle actual radfem ideology (an incorrect position) but any trans woman who might've read Whipping Girl or has a basic understanding of intersectionality or is just a bit too uppity.
Take their 1star reviews as good reason to install this addon. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon windowsxp, vor 7 Tagen

- Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon sd, vor 8 TagenI used it for years. It used to be very good at telling if someone is more covert about their transphobia-
However, lately, the people doing all the rating and anybody who might be approving those ratings only seem to care about trans women (and not even all trans women, seemingly just the ones repeating radfem rhetoric), and nobody else. I have seen people marked red for no reason other than supporting transgender men, nonbinary people, and intersex people. Most of whom never used that "transandrophobia" term that people seem to hate so much.
Seems like trans 4channers also get marked as green frequently as well. You mean to tell me the woman I saw talking about "TME theyfab pooners" is pro-trans? She probably isn't even pro-trans in regards to herself, let alone others who don't fit specific standards. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 20071927, vor 10 Tagen
- Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon SpoopySoup, vor 12 TagenI just want a little bit more transparency, more options in the options page (like more colors for ones you marked yourself, or if it was verified by the team running this), maybe hover notes on why a page was submitted and colored with simple 'time updated' metadata, because what if the mark was from ages ago and nobody looked to update it if it was someone being 14 or something 10 years ago.
I use it mostly to take a page, blog, or person with a grain of salt and to look into it myself, because sometimes transmeds can be green and someone simply with unusual pronouns for their gender can be red.
I probably used this for so long every time I see a colored blog it likely is my mark that's clientside, which is why I still use it, since I constantly curate it.
Nobody can perfectly verify everything and some can fly under the radar, if you are using this plugin, PLEASE don't be afraid to mark/submit your findings too, there may be issues but you can help by submitting the correct dropdown even if its already marked. Even clearing marks is helpful. - Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon siam, vor 12 Tagennot much help when it doesnt tell you why someone was marked red. when i come across a youtube channel marked red, and the channel is nothing but innocuous content unrelated to lgbt issues, am i supposed to just believe that? im not going through all their social media to find the truth. transphobia is a heavy accusation, you best have a good reason for it.

- Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon dreadful, vor 20 Tageni don't care about tmras and transmisogynists whinging about how they're being bullied for spreading vile bs abt trans women, but i have seen actual 4tranners get marked green, including a dedicated 4tran subreddit. come the fuck on. you wouldn't call an edtwt user a feminist for saying moid.
it's just become a discourse tool now, which is functionally useless for measuring what is and is not actually unsafe for trans people (esp women) to be around. - Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Jak, vor 20 Tagen

- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon KYLEGUTZZ, vor 22 TagenLike. SO many trans men, non-binary and intersex people are marked as transphobic on this thing for speaking about the oppression they face. So fucked. Also like. a lot of black trans people are marked red for no reason??? Racist and transphobic, avoid at all costs. If you need to check if a page or blog is transphobic, just do the work yourself.
- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Luna, vor 23 Tageny'all the rating are community made if someone who is a trans ally is marked red it's because people using the extension marked it as red for some reason
- Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon bunglung, vor 24 Tagenpretty good. ive been using it for a while and has been largely accurate. im not sure the specifics of the process. but as of late it seems false negatives within the system have been circulating just for people combating transmisogyny. one thing that would help is when somebody is marked red or green (though it would benefit red marks the most) it gives a reason why they were marked such and a link/screenshot to where the person expressed a belief which way. don't use it without checking, especially for red marks, but it can help bring your attention to whether or not a person might be transphobic
