Required permissions:
Access browser tabs
Access your data for all websites
Especially this last one gives you opportunity to steal whatever information I do with my browser e.g. when I type credit card numbers or do web site logins etc.
If you can narrow to access only the listed AI sites then it sounds more secure.

Edit after developer response:
You said you want to "avoid triggering a new permission popup every time a new AI site is added"
There are only handful of AI websites so not a big or frequent task.
This is a typical example of how, in the name of so-called "ease of use" or a "smooth user experience," essential security risks are ignored.
I understand that there are users who don’t care about security at all until the lack of it hits them personally. I’m not one of them.
If you want to improve the extension so that everyone is happy, then add a configuration option:
“Allow on all sites” vs. “Ask for permission separately for each site.”Antwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor 10 MonatenI can assure you that scripts are only injected into AI chat websites, not anywhere else. The reason the permission scope looks broad is simply to avoid triggering a new permission popup every time a new AI site is added.
That said, I fully respect your choice. Bye.
