von hwh, vor 2 TagenRecently I tested every audio addon, that was updated during the last 12 months. GainDial by Fenix is among the Top3 - and by far the best for long unstable live streams. Compared to my other favourites (e.g. the 600% Booster from lefriend or 0xpats) it demands less severe permissions: no tabs, no webRequest, only all_urls. There is an unique ‚compatibility‘ switch, which should be ON to amplify Soundcloud.
Special thanks for version 0.12.1! It solves the former problems on sites with multiple audio elements.

geschrieben am vor 2 TagenThanks for the detailed review. Could you share a site or a simple way to reproduce the issue with multiple audio elements? I’d like to investigate it properly. Cross-origin audio is intentionally limited because GainDial doesn’t proxy remote media or request additional permissions, but the other audio elements definitely shouldn’t be muted.
