This extension does not work. I continually have the error "Unable to sign in to Proton Pass. Unprocessable Entity," which other reviews have said. I have reached out to Proton for help, multiple times, and I have received no response despite being a paid user. It is unfortunate to see that as Proton gets larger, the customer service and user experience gets worse.

Update:
Once I enabled Proton VPN, the extension started working. Even if I disable the VPN connection, it continues to work. I am not sure why this is the case.

Sorry to hear that! Can you share your ticket number so we can check what happened to the support request?

Regarding the issue you've reported, this should be fixed by now. Try logging out and back in if it still persists on your end. If you're still facing issues, please update the support ticket you've opened and tell us more information like a screenshot of the error message you're getting, the browser version you're using, etc. so we can investigate further.

    It's perfection. What else can I say? it's reliable, simple to use and it offers a good amount of options in the ree version. The pro version does feels like a pro version since it offers extra features that are way useful for everyday tasks and reminders. Plus the Alias mails works like a charm

    Proton Pass is so much better than LastPass, it's laughable. We're really enjoying the improved functionality, the far better aesthetics, and peace of mind. An elegant solution for a crappy problem.

    I really think in 2026 there should be a keyboard shortcut to autofill a username and password (like bitwarden's command+shift+L). it's the most frustrating part. I also miss the folder structure from Bitwarden (but this might just be something I'm used to)

    Thank you for the review. We've taken note of your feedback regarding folders for future consideration. Keyboard shortcuts, on the other hand, are already available. Navigate to the extension's burger menu ☰ → Settings → General → scroll down to "Keyboard shortcuts".

    I thought password managers were out of my reach due to price, but when I researched, I found that even Proton's free option was rated quite high. I have been completely satisfied with it. I love that it keeps my passwords safe, generates strong new passwords, and that it's easy but secure to log into. I also appreciate the alias option, though I'm not sure if that is a feature if you don't also have Protonmail (which I do). I have no complaints and have been recommending it to family and friends.
