Mainly I use this extension on Chrome-based browsers, which gets labelled as a different "device"(?) This is very easy to use on both browser platforms. It was surprisingly difficult for me even find how to rate a FF extension on Mozilla! But it's definitely worthwhile for someone who uses Firefox only occasionally

So there really is a widespread issue between Proton VPN and Firefox. I’m frustrated, I’m a premium subscriber on an annual plan, and I still can’t use the service in the browser that’s officially supported via the extension. We need an ETA! It’s been almost two months with no updates.

Works great until my laptop goes to sleep. Then it disconnects, and for some reason prevents Firefox from connecting to the internet at all. And since Firefox isn't connected to the internet, the extension doesn't load properly, so I can't even turn it off! I have disable the add-on to get Firefox to work, at which point I can reenable it and reconnect the proxy.

Idk why it has low rating, it does what it's supposed to do and works fine. If you want upgrade you need to pay tho

I find Proton's overall service quality, server speeds, and desktop application very successful; it's a genuinely good service. However, the browser extension (Zen, Vivaldi, etc.) unfortunately does not work properly on this computer.
The moment I click connect, the extension turns "green" (connected) within milliseconds, but no pages load and it throws a "Connection Timed Out" error. I have checked all network settings and DNS configurations on my system. While other competing VPN extensions work flawlessly on the exact same system, only Proton's extension gets stuck in this fake connection loop and fails to route traffic properly at the OS layer. This extension urgently needs an update to match the quality of the overall service. Until the extension is fixed, my rating is 1 star.

Doesn't work with Firefox Nightly, but does work with vanilla Firefox. Would be good if they can get it working with Nightly

Never had any problems with this VPN add-on. Works perfectly when I need it; no speed or connection issues.

Proton is well known and it also does value privacy and its users' inputs 🙏🙏🙏 get the extension, log in, click connect and boom, thats it. i really just use it cause of age verification laws stopping me from accessing some websites, so it suits me very well 👍 thanks. plan on starting a paid thing in the future just to support Proton fr

unlike other reviews about Linux and Firefox, ive had no problems whatsoever using this VPN! im using Librewolf tho and Linux Mint, as i said, no problems here for about a month using the extension

I'd love to see more linux compatability in the Proton suite as a whole.
