von Firefox-Benutzer 16160369, vor 3 JahrenAt first I hated it. Later I learned I hated it because I didn’t know how to use it and it couldn’t read my mind therefore it didn’t do what I wanted it to do.
I was so close to uninstalling it and leaving a negative review, but I was too lazy, so I let it run. About a month later, I began to recognize patterns, that when I did X with my mouse, it always did Z. Once I began to recognize the patterns, I paid closer attention. Soon I learned I could change the volume with my mouse when the cursor was on the right side of the screen. Cool!
Then I learned the right side of the screen was further broken into 3 parts, the lower part changed volume in 1% increments, the middle right changed volume by 5% increments, and the upper right changed volume in 10% increments. Once I learned that, I loved it.
Then I learned, the mouse wheel on the left side of the screen, would speed up or slow down the video speed. I loved that. Then I learned the left side of the screen was also broken into 3 parts, lower, middle and upper, and depending where the cursor was, the rate of video play changed in 1%, 50%, or 100%. Wow, I fell in love. Then I started to go into settings and peaking around and figured out it will do lots of other stuff I loved.
Now I subscribed as a patreon and give $1 a month. But now I’ve been using it for a year straight and see its value to me.
But my first month, I hated it. I just did things haphazardly and I thought it was all screwed up. But now I know I just didn’t know how to use it and set it up to make it do what I want it to do.
I think the only problem with this YouTube tweak, is that when you install it, it does not take you to a video to show you what it can do, and how to change things.
Its only problem is, that for a newcomer, it leaves you in the dark wondering what the hell is going on. And that’s where the negative reviews come from.
Whoever invented this, thank you. Chris

But he hasn't switched chapters by scrolling the mouse wheel for several days now. Can it be fixed?
"Expand comments" feature seems not working.
Also I've not found a feature to prevent the automatic translations of the titles when in a non English country (a feature which would be similar to the "Youtube Anti Translate" add-on). Maybe I missed it. If actually absent, could you add it, please?... it would be great. Thanks, thanks, thanks.
I'll try other features later... Is there a way to replay video (seek to 0%) by left-clicking anywhere on videoplayer at the end? i have removed end-cards, so it's just blank, but unfortunately "mouse control" seems to stop working after video ended, and the only way to replay is to press small button in corner or press keyboard button

geschrieben am vor einem MonatLooks like you have to check the "Custom video annotations" option, in Clean Player section (above End screen and Cards) to get Mouse Control working when video ends. After that, you can create custom Mouse Control action that will rewind video back to 0%. Just clicking on the player to start playing from the beginning also works, but not always (I'll fix this in the next version). - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 18519668, vor einem Monat

magnifique, ça fonctionne bien...Great. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon alucioso, vor 2 MonatenTop Class Addon - A Must Have!
Should be part of the Recommended Extensions program.
It turns Youtube into your media player, with the features you'd expect, and no login required.
It replaces several addons and has a smaller footprint (less than 700 KB).
It handles everything from UI decluttering to advanced audio tools, yet it’s surprisingly resource-light. (I adore this addon, and genuinely tell anyone I know who mentions watching YouTube to install it because it's that good. However...) I use the "ctrl-click to show full size thumbnails" feature a TON, but a few days ago, mid-viewing session, it suddenly stopped working. Still works for avatars, but for thumbnails it just opens the video in a new tab. I've tried every possible fix on my end that google/reddit/etc can provide, but no luck. :/

geschrieben am vor 2 MonatenThe feature stopped working due to some YouTube changes, I'll release v3.88.2 probably tomorrow. Thanks for reporting this! - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 19841174, vor 3 Monaten

geschrieben am vor 3 MonatenThanks for reporting this, I'll release the new version next week. - Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternenvon Cooper, vor 4 Monaten"More videos" overlay in embedded player doesn't work. I still see the bottom arrow, which points to related videos. "End screen" hiding also doesn't work.
Maybe it's out of scope, or maybe it exists and I couldn't find it: but it would be nice if there was an option to toggle audio-only on youtube videos (to save bandwith/PC resources). - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Wronschien, vor 5 MonatenI've recently disocvered this addon and it's great. Many features that make it essential, thanks !
I love the 'clean' settings for instance, and btw could you add an option to remove the new 'relevant' videos on the subs page ? - Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon CyberAqyn, vor 5 MonatenUntil recently it was good. Since yesterday it went crazy causing not only browser, but the whole PC to behave strangely - like a virus - putting mouse in some fill-in areas to appear endless zeroes, freezing videos and PC crash. I've disabled it, and all that is gone. Stay away from this addon - it is malicious!

- Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon yungpinecone, vor 5 MonatenGood! It's just missing the ability to remove the "Up next" video card that sits at the top third of the player after a video has finished. If you added that I'd be stoked
- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Pandacier, vor 6 MonatenI've been using this extension for close to 2 years now, it's really amazing, this is the one I can't live without.
Just one small thing happened recently, for some reason the "Transparent Video Description And Buttons" makes the buttons borderless even when set to "With round borders" (which I was using and it looked amazing). I am using the latest Firefox version, and I have the "layout.css.has-selector.enabled" preference set to true.Antwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor 6 MonatenThis is due to some changes on YouTube. I'll release a new version in the next few days to fix this and a few more issues. Thanks for reporting!

But after the last update, when I pause a video and then, after a few seconds, start it again (but not immediately), there is a noticeable delay, about 5 seconds. I use Firefox Beta, Windows 11.
Just want to send some love to the developers.
I think I use it for years, and didn't even realize how much it helps me in my daily life. - Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon mr. sparkle, vor 7 MonatenVery useful addon with tons of features. Can be confusing to find that particular setting on the settings page since there's so many options to deal with.
One thing I really wish it had is a setting for grid lines to appear when moving my mouse so I can see where the grid boundaries are. I could control the player more conveniently without worrying about having to make sure the cursor is in or near the center of the grid square .
If you have the habit of scrolling down to read comments in full screen video then this addon will make it difficult. I had to make a blank column in the player just so I could scroll without activating the controls.
Even if you don't need the grid feature there are a ton of other options that might interest you so you should give it a try. - Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 19591303, vor 7 MonatenThe extension is pretty useful but the 'Skip Video Intro/Outro' feature doesn't work at least on Firefox
