UPDATE: years later, it sadly no longer works very well at all... But if you change your setting so that it no longer searches lyrics sites, it will set up a google query that will automate searching the song, artist and word "lyrics"... popping up in another browser tab. But it simply no longer finds lyrics on the most important lyrics sites, or less important ones for that matter. Thank you for a great run! Everything decays......

I love this application.

I have used this extension for a long time and find it very, very good. When you go to a supported website, a little box opens and a search for lyrics begins within that box (which is where the lyrics will appear, if they are found at any of innumerable sites on the web.

Better yet, the developer has been consistently conscientious in maintaining the extension.... despite the fact that they must have a day job too! Thank you for this..... Thank you for this work of art you have made!

    Not working anymore on Firefox, on Windows 7, for the last two months approximately. But I'm giving 4 stars because while it was working was very useful

    does not identify songs, even with many sources.

    This extension works, but it can be really slow to find lyrics, and will fail to find them if the title isn't (Artist) - (Song). Sometimes this title is reversed, but the main problem with this is that when youtube adds music, they have only the name of the song in the title and the artist as the account name.

    Thank you for making this. Unfortunately, it does not seem to work with Spotify web player or Youtube at the moment. A shame, because this could be a great tool!

    Terrible. It cannot even properly identify the song titles, and consequently does not find the correct lyrics for anything.

    Used to be a brilliant addon, But for the past year it has been completely broken, Incapable of finding the correct lyrics, If it even finds lyrics at all.

    Doesn't work on YouTube for some reason. Either doesn't find anything or wrong lyrics, even tho a manual search on enabled sources does show they have the lyrics I'm looking for.
    Haven't tried on Spotify. Iirc it worked fine on chromium but not here apparently.

    Does not work Spotify. Manual search works, but does not pick up playing songs automatically.

    I t was a great extension till... last month - Doesn't activate at all on Spotify, finds only the wrong lyrics or not at all on YouTube :(
    But what can we expect from this when the last update was 3 years ago!

    I have fixed many of the issues, but am waiting for time to add support for YouTube Music before publishing a new update. Thanks for your patience.

    When I first downloaded this addon it was the best, but about five or six months ago the lyrics just show in 2 or 3 sources, so is kinda sad. I hop one day this addon became the great thing once was.
