by Mark Craig, 9 years agoWithout the flexibility of Element Hiding Helper, this extension is DEAD TO ME. The functionality that tries to replace EHH in the latest AdBlockPlus is apparently no longer based on Aardvark, lacks the utility of the earlier versions that were, and is utterly UNUSABLE... even after I figured out that some old syntax was no longer recognized and caused ALL the custom filters to be ignored until I removed the offending rules, which had to be done in a separate text editor because the error dialog made LINE references that were not duplicated in the built-in textarea editor.
The world is soon to gain another Luddite, because I won't want to set foot in the Corporate Web without sufficient tools to combat it. Adblock Plus alone is a toy for idiots that, much like the Corporate Web itself, leaves all the crucial decisions in the hands of someone other than me.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18607988, 23 days agoI like the ads blocking. I wish it had a way to actively save the whitelist. I keep having to re whitelist things, with an import / export of the config files.

posted 13 days agoWe appreciate your feedback. We use a system called smart allowlisting: if you do not visit a website that you have allowlisted within 7 days, it gets automatically removed from your allowlisted websites. If you visit it in 7 days, it will get renewed for another 7 days.
We are always looking to improve, so I am forwarding your message to our team for their consideration in future updates. - Rated 1 out of 5by Mirka, a month ago

Also not a reputable company, takes your information and tries to hide it from you that they do it.

- Rated 1 out of 5by ThyBountyHunter, 4 months agoI wish there was a Zero rating, I get a pop up on Edge, saying "We have blocked 5,245,388 ads for you!", here are what is wrong with that.
1. only tried this add on about a year ago and I took it off, so why is it asking me for money?
2. Why is it popping up on edge...I never put an add on there.
3. I never used edge so how can it stop 5,245,388 ads for me when I never used the browser for more than 10 minutes at most, ever.
This add on is a scam, this add on is dangerous.Developer response
