- Rated 5 out of 5by ebayybe, 7 days agoSwitched to Bitwarden and haven't regretted it for a second. The extension works like a charm in Firefox: autofill is instant, and the interface is clean and user-friendly. A huge plus for being open-source — it really builds trust in terms of security. Highly recommended!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Andrea-FF19967159, 10 days agoI currently have BW v.2026.5.1 in Firefox, and I don’t see any slowness. Even with v.2026.5.0 and v.2026.4.0, I didn’t have any problems with sites/logins. The only noticeable bug was on the saving of autofill settings, which was fixed in v.2026.5.0.
Disclaimer: I’m a developer, and I use very powerful PCs.
If other people are still complaining, it may be one (or more!) of the following things:
- They have a slow or very low-end PC
- They have a compromised PC
- They use some particular, specific sites, e.g., Reddit (?) (I don’t use it, so I can’t tell), which may still be problematic with BW - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15074769, 10 days agoBitwarden extension has been a total nightmare in Firefox for a while now with no fix in sight.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Helena S., 14 days agoThis worked great in my firefox on windows. Until last week. Constantly pop ups saying it would slow down the browser. Of course, i dont know what the reason is. I have to deactivate it and then activate again to log in somewhere and then deactivate again, and its annoying and feels like i can´t trust it anymore.
I can see that others have the same problem recently.
Dear developers, do somehting or at least give a sign that you read our recent reviews. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15242125, 14 days agoDO NOT INSTALL Version 2026.5.0 !
Slows down webpages significantly. I suggest installing the older version, you can do that below the add-on page under the section "See all versions". - Rated 1 out of 5by TechnoM4tter, 15 days agoDO NOT INSTALL THIS VERSION!

You are the product. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 16917969, 17 days agoA great extension, but recently the extension is showing massive performance issues, slowing down the browser to a halt. Specifically on Reddit for me, for some odd reason.
