by Firefox user 18808553, a year agoWorks some of the time. Proxy config works for containers 1 and 2 consistently enough. Containers 3 and 4 (and Incognite) quit using it after a while and consume all my limited hotspot data after a couple of weeks.
See no way to respond directly to the Developer response below, but oh good grief. I get 60 GB of data but only 20 GB of hotspot data and run a socks proxy on the phone. A proxy doesn't change my overall volume of of internet usage, yes, but can have a tremendous impact on my hotspot usage. Data plans in which hotspot data is considerably less than total data are common. I have a couple of cameras in the house that aren't proxy aware and when the hotspot data is consumed the cameras quit working even though I still have plenty of data.

- Rated 3 out of 5by daydreaming, 17 days agoFor almost a year now, FoxyProxy hasn’t been functioning properly. The extension keeps staying connected to the very first city that was selected during the initial setup. Even when changing the location in the settings, it still remains stuck on that original city.
The developers seriously need to investigate this issue. Me and several other users have been experiencing the same problem, and the only temporary fix seems to be uninstalling and reinstalling the extension completely.Developer response
posted 15 days agoI would love to help. I use FoxyProxy myself every day and if I saw this problem, I'd fix it. Since there are so many different settings, it's possible we are using it differently and that is why I have not seen the problem you describe. This is the wrong place to debug and solve the problem. Could you please email me at help@getfoxyproxy.org? - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18586574, a month ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Lulu5239, 6 months agoWorks and the log feature is useful, but there is a chance that this slows down my phone's performance when watching videos, even without any proxy selected. I now disable this extension when not actually using it.
