Firefox Multi-Account Containers by Firefox

by Firefox user 16852850, 4 years agoThere are a lot of great things about this extension, but there are a few things wrong with this extension:
1 - Reordering the containers via Manage Container does not reorder the context menu when clicking on a link which you want to open a specific container.
2 - The Ctrl + Shift + # shortcut also does not use the same order, which makes the shortcut after reordering containers totally useless.
3 - Urls with paths cannot be assigned to default containers, making them very hard to use with sites that have the same root, but different authentication per path (which you thus want to open in separate containers).
These issues already exist a long time (and looking at the VPN stuff that is being added instead of fixing these) this extension will probably never work any better..
Which is a shame, because its a killer feature.

- Rated 5 out of 5by cbohorquezm, 23 days agoKudos to the way this Multi-Account Container extension plays together with the now integrated Container functionality in Firefox. It seamlessly integrated with the containers I created before I installed it! Genius. I want the extension for the automatic "Always open in..." functionality. Keep it up.

- Rated 2 out of 5by DarDar, a month agoUnfortunately it doesn't work for the website I meant to use it for, it's just for a silly browser game but I need to have a separate account for two servers and I can't because when I log in it stores a cookie and it led to the accidental creation of a secondary account (and that could trigger a warning or even a ban), I just wanna use separate accounts on separate servers instead but can't manage to do it even with this extension.
