by Jakar, 6 years agoIt is a most useful extension, i have it on windows and works perfectly, but on android it has some flows: At first, it saves only some of the opened tabs and permanently closes the rest. After some experiments i found out that it does not save the tabs that you have opened in background and not visited, or the tabs that you have not visited after opening the browser. If there is some settings that could fix it, some instructions on this matter from the developers would be very useful. The second annoying thing is that you can not choose whether or not, preferably not but unfortunately not an option, to open the onetab page automatically on a new tab when you open the browser first time after having terminated the app. When the app still runs on the background and you reopen it it does not open the onetab homepage tab. At least i have not found any kind of settings like on the windows version, if someone knows something more please share. If there is a way to overcome these flaws please state it, if not it would be nice to consider fixing them. This is a very useful extension and deserves the perfection, like the windows version..

- Rated 1 out of 5by Koiebe, 6 days agoNB! DO NOT USE THIS GARBAGE OF an addon. Yesterday received some update and today months of work is gone forever - no DB backup no nothing! It is not coded well at all!
I DID not refreshed my Firefox, neither did some kind of cleaning of the browser or Windows whatsoever.
What a f%#king shame !!!
I do not see any reason why is recommended app by Firefox, when I read that clearly I'm not the only one affected.
And please developers, don't say it is Firefox fault. It is not the only add-on we use. You can read firefox code, and fix your own! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14615850, 14 days ago

posted 23 days agoHi, I'm sorry this happened. It's definitely not a bug in our code, though. Something is wiping Firefox's internal storage - it's pretty much impossible for us to accidentally write code that would suddenly just wipe the entire contents of the storage and then delete the entire OneTab database after that.
Some "privacy cleaner" software will wipe Firefox data, or it could have been a crash causing a disk write error that corrupted the storage areas. Firefox's "Refresh" feature also wipes clean the extension storage. Being low on disk space when the browser is trying to write to its databases can also cause corruption.- Rated 5 out of 5by Rio Chandra, 25 days agoI love this. It restore my RAM instantly (because all tabs are closed and save the link). Web version is easy to use, instant response, drag-n-drop everywhere. I suggest add Ctrl+z (cmd+z) to undo previous action (if user accidently delete link. Also I suggest add right-click action to directory for easy quick-action.
Overall, I love it. thank you for you all effort.Developer response
posted 25 days agoThanks, Rio :) We'll be implementing an undo feature in the future, especially to be able to undo move operations. Please also contact us at one-tab.com/feedback as we'd love to get more detail on the quick actions you're referring to so we can ensure we're building the right thing. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15161687, 25 days agoStill having catastrophic data loss every few months. Been this way for years. Garbage

- Rated 5 out of 5by sdfds, a month agoit worked very well for me till some of the last updates, now when I open it via context menu the tab appears as the pinned leftmost one, and I have to perform a few additional clicks to unpin it and place as the rightmost one, where I usually need it. I just hope the developers will return the usual behavior of this function. All the rest features work well for my needs, thank you guys!

posted a month agoHi, do you remember recently being asked if you want to "Refresh Firefox"? This is a prompt shown to you when you upgrade to a new Firefox version (there is a new Firefox version released every month). This feature, confusingly, wipes clean all add-on storage including OneTab's storage. If Firefox ever gets a disk corruption, that could also cause data loss.
I'm very sorry this happened to you. We're working on cloud sync so in the future this can't happen.- Rated 2 out of 5by What???, 2 months agoI have same problem with this extension as other users where it would randomly wipe out my tabs. I noticed this on Chrome too.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Mr Buckeye, 3 months agoDeleted all my tabs without saving, after new update, tabs do not show up in Onetab window. This problem is on Zen Browser
Developer response
posted 3 months agoHi, the Zen browser's extension API does not have full compatibility with Firefox extensions unfortunately. Many extensions won't work with it. We hope they will improve compatibility with Firefox.
