by MysticX, 9 months agoThank you! Idea: if we have multiple tab groups open, ability to save them so they can be 1 click loaded in current or new window.
EDIT: Thanks for the response! While your recommended addons come close, they are only able to save and restore normal tabs. If my tabs are inside a tab group, all that happens with those addons, is that a blank new window without any tabs gets "restored", signalling that there is a lack of tab group implementation. I was curious whether something like that is achievable with your approach.
If you manage, please consider checking the following: Opening a single bookmark folder works marvelously, but if one tries to open a root bookmark folder (that is storing more bookmark folders inside), the following occurs; Option 1 - The root bookmark folder contains more bookmark folders and also some bookmarks that aren't in a specific folder: only the bookmarks that aren't in subfolders get opened. Option 2 - The root bookmark folder contains more bookmark folders but there aren't any bookmarks directly exposed in root folder (meaning all bookmarks are inside those subsequent bookmark folders): nothing is opened. Secondly, if one tries to open a bookmark folder that is located inside the root bookmark folder but also stores bookmark folders itself, only items in primary folder get opened while the items from extra bookmark folders are ignored.
EDIT 2: Consider adding ability to pin a recent tab group so that whenever user clicks the extension icon in toolbar, there are tab groups pinned by default that they may open anytime.
EDIT 3 (19/6/26/): Support for opening bookmarked file:///C:/ would be amazing! (these are merely suggestions, thanks for the addon!)
