by Firefox user 14226201, 3 years agoI logged just to rate this, its amazing, thanks for this absurd work, please keep this stuff for free and if you do new paid things do very nice good stuff, i'm saying that cause we know how bad youtube is and its not only youtube, this billionary companies hate us for some reason and we are the people who give money for they. When i see that function to the controls only show up when the cursor is near to the control location i started to think how bad youtube is, i don't get why all of this tweaks its not on youtube by default, except the ads part of course. Btw talking about ads, any option to remove ads, i don't think is a good thing to keep on the extension and people will hate me for saying this but i'm thinking on the future of the extension for prevent troubles, if someone wants to remove ads i recommend uBlock Origin, its open source and is one of the reasons for be the best adblock, people are improving him good. Thanks for the extension, unfortunnally i live in Brazil and is hard to donate or use patreon cause the taxes here is a absurd, 1 dollar is 5 times more than our money, some years ago was 7 times, oh, was worse before, thank God, but now the prices are way highter than before and the president is literally a thief ex-presidiary, have proves that he is corrupted and people voted on him, its difficulty to live. Thanks for the extension, masterpiece.

- Rated 5 out of 5by TheUpscaledArchitect, a day agoI love this extension, It has so much customization and does pretty much everything I would want from a YouTube extension. Been using it for a couple years.
There is currently a bug with the setting "Hide Related Videos In Sidebar" where when I am signed into a YouTube account the description and comments under the video will be displayed a bit wider then the video. It ranges from slight to more noticeable.
It appears to consistently scale properly if you are signed out of YouTube. - Rated 3 out of 5by migzon, 5 days agoScrolling on Youtube Shorts, this addon is causing massive memory leak after while and FF becomes unresponsive. Tested all my addons one by one and this was the culprit.

- Rated 5 out of 5by valkyr1e, a month agoCan't use Youtube without this extension since they like to break/change things that made it worse. But I notice the extension does not apply the tweak on embed videos anymore eg. default resolution and volume do not apply, mouse control zone not working. Not sure if this is caused by Youtube end or Firefox but Chrome is fine. Edit: As of version 3.91.0, issue on embedded video is fixed. Thank you author!
- Rated 5 out of 5by raptor, 2 months agoA wonderful extension!! But he hasn't switched chapters by scrolling the mouse wheel for several days now. Can it be fixed?
- Rated 5 out of 5by BlackWinny, 2 months agoGreat add-on.
"Expand comments" feature seems not working.
Also I've not found a feature to prevent the automatic translations of the titles when in a non English country (a feature which would be similar to the "Youtube Anti Translate" add-on). Maybe I missed it. If actually absent, could you add it, please?... it would be great. Thanks, thanks, thanks.
I'll try other features later... - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13604924, 3 months agoGreat extension! Is there a way to replay video (seek to 0%) by left-clicking anywhere on videoplayer at the end? i have removed end-cards, so it's just blank, but unfortunately "mouse control" seems to stop working after video ended, and the only way to replay is to press small button in corner or press keyboard button

posted 3 months agoLooks like you have to check the "Custom video annotations" option, in Clean Player section (above End screen and Cards) to get Mouse Control working when video ends. After that, you can create custom Mouse Control action that will rewind video back to 0%. Just clicking on the player to start playing from the beginning also works, but not always (I'll fix this in the next version). - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18519668, 3 months ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by alucioso, 4 months agoTop Class Addon - A Must Have!
Should be part of the Recommended Extensions program.
It turns Youtube into your media player, with the features you'd expect, and no login required.
It replaces several addons and has a smaller footprint (less than 700 KB).
It handles everything from UI decluttering to advanced audio tools, yet it’s surprisingly resource-light. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17903355, 4 months agoPlease help! (I adore this addon, and genuinely tell anyone I know who mentions watching YouTube to install it because it's that good. However...) I use the "ctrl-click to show full size thumbnails" feature a TON, but a few days ago, mid-viewing session, it suddenly stopped working. Still works for avatars, but for thumbnails it just opens the video in a new tab. I've tried every possible fix on my end that google/reddit/etc can provide, but no luck. :/

posted 4 months agoThe feature stopped working due to some YouTube changes, I'll release v3.88.2 probably tomorrow. Thanks for reporting this! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19841174, 4 months ago

posted 4 months agoThanks for reporting this, I'll release the new version next week. - Rated 3 out of 5by Cooper, 5 months ago"More videos" overlay in embedded player doesn't work. I still see the bottom arrow, which points to related videos. "End screen" hiding also doesn't work.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Trefkar, 6 months agoMust have plugin.
Maybe it's out of scope, or maybe it exists and I couldn't find it: but it would be nice if there was an option to toggle audio-only on youtube videos (to save bandwith/PC resources). - Rated 5 out of 5by Wronschien, 6 months agoI've recently disocvered this addon and it's great. Many features that make it essential, thanks !
I love the 'clean' settings for instance, and btw could you add an option to remove the new 'relevant' videos on the subs page ? - Rated 4 out of 5by Multifranck, 7 months ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by yungpinecone, 7 months agoGood! It's just missing the ability to remove the "Up next" video card that sits at the top third of the player after a video has finished. If you added that I'd be stoked
- Rated 5 out of 5by Pandacier, 7 months agoI've been using this extension for close to 2 years now, it's really amazing, this is the one I can't live without.
Just one small thing happened recently, for some reason the "Transparent Video Description And Buttons" makes the buttons borderless even when set to "With round borders" (which I was using and it looked amazing). I am using the latest Firefox version, and I have the "layout.css.has-selector.enabled" preference set to true.Developer response
posted 7 months agoThis is due to some changes on YouTube. I'll release a new version in the next few days to fix this and a few more issues. Thanks for reporting! - Rated 5 out of 5by Leofric, 7 months ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by DimTim, 8 months agoGreat extension! But after the last update, when I pause a video and then, after a few seconds, start it again (but not immediately), there is a noticeable delay, about 5 seconds. I use Firefox Beta, Windows 11.
- Rated 5 out of 5by noidilin, 8 months agoGreat tool. Just want to send some love to the developers.
I think I use it for years, and didn't even realize how much it helps me in my daily life. - Rated 4 out of 5by mr. sparkle, 8 months agoVery useful addon with tons of features. Can be confusing to find that particular setting on the settings page since there's so many options to deal with.
One thing I really wish it had is a setting for grid lines to appear when moving my mouse so I can see where the grid boundaries are. I could control the player more conveniently without worrying about having to make sure the cursor is in or near the center of the grid square .
If you have the habit of scrolling down to read comments in full screen video then this addon will make it difficult. I had to make a blank column in the player just so I could scroll without activating the controls.
Even if you don't need the grid feature there are a ton of other options that might interest you so you should give it a try.
