- Rated 1 out of 5by me.myself.and.I, 7 hours agothis extension causes huge memory leak in FireFox, just imagine Google search page takes about 4Gb, as well as YouTube page loads 4Gb of something filling in RAM.
after removal DarkReader from FireFox - situation with memory leak came back to normal.
do not install this extension if your still want to use FireFox. - Rated 1 out of 5by Matt H, 3 days agoWill never use an extension that asks a user to pay money. Sorry.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Neo.Perses, 14 days agoYour last update screwed every single web site I go to, and that is no exaggeration. Every web site now has some random color, changed every color...doesn't even follow my OS or my Firefox settings. This is unacceptable, completely unacceptable. It's going to take me weeks to reset everything. I'm really tired of bad updates.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Craig, 18 days agoPerformance was always icky on Firefox, but recently its just horrible, unusable on low end devices and frequently pushes hardware temps up (the way i even noticed it on main powerful pc, its not felt but you could see high cpu use by stats)
- Rated 1 out of 5by SzymonL, 20 days agoFreezes after last update (Allegro.pl for example).
Zawiesza strony (na przykład Allegro.pl). - Rated 1 out of 5by neo2006a, 21 days agoThe latest update causes the browser and even the entire PC to freeze due to very high CPU usage.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13848868, 22 days agoI've been using Dark Reader for years, but now it slows down and even hangs my browser. When I use Firefox Settings to set backgrounds to black, I lose highlighting effects. Absence of a working dark mode could cause me to abandon Firefox. :-(

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19953775, a month agoThis extension hijacks searches to include their referral tag to steal rep and/or money for themselves. When directly going to www.google.com and running a manual search in the search bar, this addon hijacks the search to include its referral tag, making Google think this app initiated the search. This is similar to how Honey steals money via referral codes. Go to Google, run a search, then disable the addon and do the same thing. Compare the URL bar.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Lou, 2 months agoUsed to be great, but more and more it'll make some sites like run 10-30x slower until they crash your browser tab. (Tested and confirmed it was this extension)
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13373464, 2 months agoOne of the OG addons have to be removed finally. Loved this addon for years but its at the point now it is very noticeably slowing down my pages. Sometimes to the point of freezing the entire browser.
IMO the addon needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14816869, 3 months ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Esteban, 3 months agoIt's a very good extension for dark mode; it really does make any website dark mode. However, in terms of performance, it leaves much to be desired, making any website run horribly. But on the other hand, it's a very good extension.
