by 00231, 6 years agoDoes not work, I have tinkered with the settings and tried everything (such as toggling fixed location, reinstalling, restarting browser and device, deleting geocache and browser cache) but according to whatsmyip's approx location tool it can still discover my exact location, despite setting this geospoofer elsewhere. I'm also using a VPN set to the same location I set this to test it (since the site is finding my location by other means that I thought this would solve) - it has no effect. Is there anywhere we can request support, and not just bug reports? I see I'm not alone.

- Rated 5 out of 5by harl windwolf, 10 days agoWorks exactly as expected. The options are available from the list of extensions (Ctrl+Shift+A), Location Guard, three-dot-menu, Options.
If it doesn't work for you on a specific page, that's because the page doesn't rely on the information provided by the browser, but instead checks your IP (or that of your VPN etc) and a few other location sources more aggressively than other pages.
