Briefed: AI Context Vault by Nico Danan

Briefed keeps the context you'd otherwise re-explain to every AI assistant.
Who you are, what you're working on, how you like things done. It's encrypted on
your own computer. When you need it, generate a briefing and paste it into
whichever assistant you're using.

Nothing leaves your device. Briefed requests one permission, storage,
and makes no network requests of any kind. No accounts, no sync, no
telemetry, no remote code. Your vault is a file you own.

How it works

• Fill in what an AI should know: your identity, background, current work,
  the people around you, and your accumulated notes
• Generate a briefing at three depths : Essential, Standard, or Complete
• Paste it into any assistant, in any browser, on any site
• Export the vault as an encrypted file for backup or to move between machines

Encryption

AES-256-GCM with PBKDF2-SHA256 at 600,000 iterations, the current OWASP
minimum. The vault locks itself after five minutes idle and clears its
contents from the page. There is no password reset and no recovery, the key
is derived from your passphrase and never stored.

What it doesn't do

No cloud sync. No account. No analytics. No AI features that call out to a
service. If you're looking for something that syncs across devices, this
isn't it. That's the trade-off for having no server at all.
