by Marcin Rataj, 9 years agoI upgraded to WebExtension and Firefox 57 today on my work machine and was pleasingly surprised how smooth it was to import settings from legacy version. GUI is a bit different but overall it works like a charm. Use cases I use daily were ported perfectly.
As a fellow add-on developer I can truly appreciate how much work and time was invested to make this rewrite possible.
This add-on is extremely important to me, been using it for years and will use it for many years to come.
Thank you so much for creating and maintaining it!
PS. Please do not get discouraged by less technical people that use reviews to state temporary frustration. I am sure everything will get back to normal next month, when everyone moves on with their lives.

- Rated 3 out of 5by daydreaming, 9 days agoFor almost a year now, FoxyProxy hasn’t been functioning properly. The extension keeps staying connected to the very first city that was selected during the initial setup. Even when changing the location in the settings, it still remains stuck on that original city.
The developers seriously need to investigate this issue. Me and several other users have been experiencing the same problem, and the only temporary fix seems to be uninstalling and reinstalling the extension completely.Developer response
posted 7 days agoI would love to help. I use FoxyProxy myself every day and if I saw this problem, I'd fix it. Since there are so many different settings, it's possible we are using it differently and that is why I have not seen the problem you describe. This is the wrong place to debug and solve the problem. Could you please email me at help@getfoxyproxy.org? - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18586574, 22 days ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Lulu5239, 5 months agoWorks and the log feature is useful, but there is a chance that this slows down my phone's performance when watching videos, even without any proxy selected. I now disable this extension when not actually using it.
