Bring your own API key and translate the web your way.

Features

Immersive page translation — translate full pages inline while preserving the original layout.
Select-to-translate — highlight any text to translate it, compare side by side, copy, or read aloud.
Grammar check & polish — review and refine your text: every suggested change comes with its reason, with tone presets (casual, formal, professional…), and you can accept or reject edits individually.
Input translation — translate text fields in place.
Bilingual video subtitles — translated subtitles alongside the original, with learning annotations and hover word lookup. Using surrounding subtitle context and Topic Sensing, MelonTranslate produces more accurate translations than similar tools on the same model.
Multiple providers — OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek, Groq, Google Translate, or any OpenAI-compatible provider.

Privacy & open source

Open source (MIT). Your API key is stored locally and only sent to the provider you configure.
