by Haunted, 4 months agoFREE VPN SEEKERS BEWARE! PLEASE, I BEG OF YOU, I ENTREAT YOU - TO READ THE DREAD TALE OF MY WEARY TRAVELS BEFORE YOU FOLLOW "THE EXTENSION ROAD."
I cannot find any clear instructions on how to install and use this thing. Everywhere just keeps saying "click the vpn button in the top right of the Firefox toolbar." Ok... well after restarting it still wasn't there.
So I went to extensions and searched for "Firefox VPN" and found one that said it was made the the Firefox Team. I download it and install it and restart my browser. "Ah-hah! the button has appeared" says I as i click the new absolutely nondescript button that has now appeared in the top right of Firefox.
I click it. It tells me "now download Mozilla VPN then come back and sign in here!" Ok... I download the file from the big button and install it. Alright, so now its opening in its own program instead of inside Firefox, what is going on here??
Oh, I have to create an account as well before I can see anything, and I'm already seeing people on Reddit saying there is no free option for some reason.
I find no free option.
So then fellow travelers, I do the task I am saving you from. I uninstall Mozilla VPN and Firefox VPN extension. To the Lords of the Mozillas I say: Thank you, but no thank you.
Henceforth, until "5 and 0 gigs for free" thine hast, for which thine hast plastered everywhere for so to make sure we'st, "The Seekers of VPN Knowledge," inclined to download the digitals - us users of the sacred Fox of Fire shall reject your digitals.
Now I'm writing a 1-star review in the hopes you will fix this issue. But really I'm writing this 1-star review to warn others before they waste 45 minutes of their life like I just did.
Thank you.

Currently, the Mozilla VPN extension is only available on Windows devices.
We’re working to bring support to macOS and Linux soon!Developer response

- Rated 2 out of 5by LIMD, 2 months agoI only tried this because of the extension, I have a mulvad subscription already but i wanted my PC vpn to only run on browsers so i got this. That being said this is one of the slowest vpns i have used (With the exact same settings as mulvad) Until they fix the speed just get mulvad this is not worth the money.

Also, you can’t enable VPN for just one website; you can only exclude websites from it. I don’t want to turn on VPN for all websites. Who came up with that? It makes sense for my own VPN, but definitely not for a public one.Developer response
