by kruser8, 9 years agoI absolutely hate the 8.4 toolbar add-on. After using roboform for over 9 years, The bottom toolbar is often in the way at the bottom of the screen covering up site information. Typically humans using a browswer have bookmarks and controls in the upper left area of the browser and even the browser menu visible if you have those turned on to show. There is a reason to have all the controls in a general location for ease of use. Having to sweep your eyes to the bottom of the screen? It's counter-intuitive. Having to move your eyes AND your mouse the bottom of the screen to use the attempt of the former roboform toolbar and controls hoping to work like they used to is tiring and making using the web NOT FUN. If you hide the bottom tool-bar the click-to-open bookmark in the toolbar icon. The functionality is limited in this menu. This new interface should be persitently matching against my data providing action click rather than having to click deeper into an area. One would expect the pop-down interface from the toolbar icon to at least inspect the website your on to do the typical automatic site-search-match against my password library. No-go though. I have to use the search context which the results do not have right-click options as the regular passcard options do when right-clicking. Even the bottom toolbar doesn't always recognize the site your on - sometimes I have to refresh the site for the bottom toolbar notice the site and find a match. I'm hoping someone is working nights/weekends & overtime to try to fix the roboform toolbar to be human friendly again. Very unhappy.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15701863, 15 days agoFirefox version is always 1 or 2 versions behind Chrome and Edge versions of the extension when there is an update. Roboform page even says 9.9.8 is available for Firefox, but it's actually been stuck at a buggy and broken version 9.9.6. Mozilla never even published 9.9.7 either. So now we're two versions behind while other browsers have had a working version for over 20 days now.

Es erscheint auf der Roboform Website auf grauem Hintergrund folgende Meldung als kleines Popup Fenster : RoboForm Start Page has detected RoboForm browser extension but cannot connect with it.
Please update RoboForm browser extension.
Was soll man nun tun ?
In anderen Browsern :Vivaldi ,Brave,Opera funktioniert das Addon ! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13769660, 3 months ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13720335, 3 months agoI've been using Roboform forever. I've tried out others over the years, but they didn't have the features I needed.
What motivated me to write this is that I had to submit a support ticket, and they responded with a helpful answer in one minute! Best support I've ever received from a company. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18672029, 3 months agoFunktioniert leider seit ein paar Wochen nicht mehr mit Firefox

I have been a user for several years, with licenses in ver6 and ver7 before 8 wholesale upgrade & now 9. Unfortunately they appear to be killing it slowly but surely with untimely and poor quality "upgrades"
After finally fixing login & attachment issues a few months ago, they have now brought them back again with this last update. - Rated 1 out of 5by litlewolf2, 4 months agoWas a great extension. I bought mine years ago, but after having to switch computers I lost access. So I went with free version. They stopped supporting the extension for free. Now they want annual fees. Personally I think this should be a one time fee for life like what I originally paid for. Now they even removed the desktop version of being able to input passwords. App sucks now.
- Rated 5 out of 5by KevinZ, 4 months agoI chose Roboform maybe a couple of decades ago when I held a senior staff position in IT which had the word "security" (among others) in my job description, and I have not been disappointed. It seems well structured from a security standpoint; I could be blind, but I'm not seeing the catastrophic compromises other respected products fall prey too. I'm never fighting it - seeming inconveniences appear to have security in the background. Roboform has numerous nice features like tending to hide the password fills from screen captures, and it is good at adapting to the various security contortions introduced in qualifications across multiple platforms, IMO not an easy feat. Highly recommended.
