by Ioachim S, 6 years agoConclusion: This is a great extension that I've been using with Chrome for 5 years already. However, Chrome is becoming a google pest so I moved on to Firefox. I realize that it is not possible to set a shortcut to send the current tab to the OneTab well. This renders this extension absolutely useless and will be uninstalling it now and will try again later time to see if this is possible.
The actual experience: I have a hard time understanding how others use this extension. I click the one tab icon, and wow, all my tabs are sent all to OneTab. What the... This is bad UX or I am too old. Ok, lets repeat the sequence. I have 26 tabs open out of which I want to keep only 4 open. I select a tab to be sent to OneTab, right click the one tab icon, go to OneTab submenu and select 'Send only this tab to OneTab' and repeat this action 24 times manually. Ok, this took 2 minutes and I am tired and irritated that I had to do this, this is just bad UX.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Tarantula, 2 months agois not working, it says addon is corrupt, and has not been updated in 9 years?
- Rated 1 out of 5by obsessiveKaleidoscope, 3 months agoUsed to work great, but after an update of either Firefox or the extension, it won't even install because the extension is "corrupt" or something. This used to be the only extension that would let you rebind the Tab key.

- Rated 1 out of 5by malau, 8 months agoI want to disable ALT F,X which I often hit by mistake instead of ALT F,C.
However, it is impossible to disable even ALT F !
This extension has been ABANDONED for 5 years, so it's not surprising that it doesn't work. - Rated 1 out of 5by oralhealth, 8 months agowhy doesn't this work

] - Rated 3 out of 5by Tielessin, 8 months agoVery flimsy and frustrating to get to work. For example, it not working in the URL Bar, only working after a page is fully loaded and not working on certain pages like this addons marketplace and any internal web pages (like the new tab page or the addons manager). Most of the issues don't seem to be the fault of the dev tho. Make sure you carefully read the infos in the add-on page when you run into issues.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Prajna Sariputra, 9 months agoWorks to disable the Ctrl+U shortcut, not for Ctrl+W though which still closes tabs and is what I really wanted to remap or disable.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Kwauhn, a year agoWorks to change shortcuts, but is too rigid in the actions it is able to override. I only wanted this to change Ctrl+Tab (go to previous tab) to Alt+Q, but the "TABS: Previous Tab" setting does not respect Firefox's "Ctrl+Tab cycles through tabs in recently used order" setting. I have that option selected, but Alt+Q still goes by tab order instead of recent use order.
