by kloassie, 2 years agoyeah it works, but why does it hide certain videos from the all subscription feed?? How many videos did I miss bc of this strange behaviour?? only hide when I click a certain group. Then you can show all (new) vids from the channels in the group and hide the rest. But when I go to youtube / feed / subscriptions and don't click any group or whatever then I wanna see ALL new videos, don't hide a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g.!!!

Also, and these are less important issues that I previously posted, why is the 'adding channels to a group'-process restricted to a small paged popup window? Do you really think I started watching youtube just yesterday? that I started subscribing to channels just a moment ago? I've been watching youtube vids since YT's first creation and am subscribed to hundreds of channels. You want me to sort through that in a miniscule frame? gimme a browserwindow-large sorting window with infinite scroll at least so I can have a good overview. It's bad enough already that I can only see each channel's icon+name/handle (which most times isn't very informative about the channel's content), but at least give me a c.l.e.a.r . w.i.d.e . o.p.e.n overview to ease my sorting
And another suggestion, in this 'select channels to add to group' window, label each channel with tags to which groups they're added to already. eg when I add a channel to the group 'tutorial' and am then later in the selection window for adding channels to 'art' then show a 'tutorial' tag behind the channels that I added to the tutorial group earlier. That way I can have a bit more info on the channel than only it's icon+name already! Plus then I have a direct view on which channels are yet not grouped in any of my groups

posted 2 years agoThank you for sharing, however, you should use the special fullscreen dashboard to manage groups, watch the part of the tutorial: https://youtu.be/r4iX53Qg2sE?si=ZZtRtyJjfV8voZdw&t=46 I'm not going to make more complicated channel or video page with the large popup there, because it makes UI more complicated for more users. If you want to show the channel without a group you should use the filter there https://youtu.be/r4iX53Qg2sE?si=5gNnLPrY0-lfWFut&t=136
PocketTube already has an auto tags feature, it's available for our patrons. Watch the part of the video https://youtu.be/Gu9Tqtlug5U?si=4OfhifndE773Er94&t=65

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13820476, 9 days agoWhen video crossposting was first introduced, those videos would ignore filter settings in the Subscriptions tab and always appear in the list. But after the recent update(s), it became the opposite: crossposted videos will never appear in the Subscriptions tab, even if all the posters are subscribed and not filtered out by the current settings.

posted 9 days agoThank you for reporting! We can filter collaboration videos based on the group filters, however, as I see the feature is not working properly in Firefox, I've prepared a fix in the upcoming version of Firefox 18.5.9 and will be available after review next week.
UPD: the new version 18.5.9 is available, and the issue has been resolved. - Rated 5 out of 5by Chr15, 12 days ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Devvie, 17 days agoThis garbage hides videos if it's a collab between two channels... For the life of me couldn't figure it out why am I missing out on videos and only find them in recommendations. Also, it's slow, lot of upsells, UI is a mess and not intuitive at all, unless you found it at least once and overall a disgusting experience to use, but alas I couldn't find anything to replace it yet

posted 17 days agoSorry to hear it, however, you enabled the filter by group option, so videos that don’t match the selected group will naturally be hidden. This is expected behavior and not an issue with the extension itself.
If our approach or UI does not fit your preferences, you are free to remove the extension. We’d also appreciate it if you could keep the review respectful and avoid terms like garbage.
We have thousands of active users, and the extension has been successfully trusted and maintained on the market for more than 9 years. - Rated 5 out of 5by jelly, a month agoHi, love the extension(almost can't live without it), as the previous review said the styling has been wonky lately, it's especially jarring on dark mode, but I do assume some youtube change was to blame so I'm still giving 5 stars

posted a month agoThank you for reporting. It was a YouTube update yesterday. We've prepared the new version to support the new overlay.
It's on review on the Firefox store, and I hope it will be available during the week. The Firefox store review is so slow, and we don't have an option to speed it up.
UPD: the new version 18.4.42 is available, and the issue has been resolved. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19857487, a month ago

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 16657583, 2 months agoWorked great untill a couple months ago. Now almost every time I go to a group I have to load it over and over to get all the channels to show. Tonight it started only showing videos from a month ago and nothing else. Tried disabling all other addons, removing and reinstalling pockettube, clearing cookies and cache but nothing fixes it.

posted 2 months agoIt was a YouTube update on Friday. I added support for a new layout in version 18.4.11, but the Firefox store review is so slow, and we don't have an option to speed it up.
UPD: the new version 18.4.12 is available, please try to use it! - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 19825888, 2 months ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Skybreaker, 2 months agoI don’t know if there is a limit to how many channels this extension can handle, but a few days ago, the filter at the top stopped working. The filter buttons are there, and my subscription groups still exist, but it always shows ALL of my subscribed channels regardless of which filters are toggled. This occurs even when all other extensions are disabled.
REPLY: Thanks for the update. I will just view videos within individual groups for now. (I did not know this was a feature.) Looking forward to the fix!Developer response

UPD: the new version 18.4.12 is available, please try to use it! - Rated 5 out of 5by Frog, 2 months agoI really appreciate the option to combine multiple channels into 1 group overview. Having all my review (hardware unboxed, gamersnexus etc) , my history (EH, history guy) and my AI channel (networkchuck, ai automaters) combined into groups make Youtube much more usable for me.
Premium is to expensive though imhoDeveloper response

- Rated 5 out of 5by FireFox-User-1, 2 months agoIt Works and allows me to unsubscribe and reduce the subscription to the ones really count.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14804379, 2 months agoEvery thing is perfect except when Unsubscribe it doesn't remove the channel from the group even when the option is off in settings this happened before in chrome version and today its also in firefox

posted 3 months agoThere was no update on the extension side. "Most relevant' is a new YouTube feature, it's still not available for every account, and they're testing it.
If you don't like it you can hide it by uBlock or other extensions, but it's not our changes. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19762078, 3 months ago
