by Nauta Caeli, a year agoThis extension is a game-changer for anyone who values efficient knowledge management. The tool allows you to clip content directly from the web and save it to your Obsidian vault, ensuring you always have access to your resources—even offline.
What makes this extension stand out is its intuitive design. The user interface is simple and straightforward, making it easy to clip and categorize information with just a few clicks. Whether you're researching a project, bookmarking interesting articles, or building a knowledge base, the extension integrates seamlessly into your workflow.
One of its most powerful features is the ability to customize how the content is saved using filters. This means you can automatically organize and format your clipped content to match your unique Obsidian setup.
However, it’s worth noting that writing filters requires a bit of coding knowledge. While this might be a hurdle for complete beginners, those with even basic scripting skills will find the possibilities incredibly rewarding. Plus, the Obsidian community provides excellent support to help you get started.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Daniel, 3 months agoI'm using Obsidian Web Clipper on Linux Mint. When I save, it always opens a new instance of Obsidian. This is frustrating because the plugin never detects that an existing instance of Obsidian is already open.
