I'm only giving Bitwarden 4 stars because sometimes the addon doesn't recognise that I've either changed a password or made an account on some webpages. In that case I have to add it by hand, but other than that the service is truly magical. If I had more money I'd even pay for it, as a sign of appreciation - I have no need for their premium features. They're certainly more valuable than that other, unmentionable, password management company. <3

Very good Password Manager in almost all aspects. I worked with all of the most common ones at this point, this one is my favorite.

Only slight downside is the lack of an option to remove the context menu entry.

Indeed, the reply to this review by the developer is true. This addon went through some issues in 2024 where it would log us out daily, but they have since fixed that. They had another issue but they fixed it.

Their dev team isn't the best. They keep causing new issues after fixing them. Latest in 2026 Feb is that biometrics (which they fixed last year for the third time) is not always working on Firefox after rebooting. I have to manually enter pass. This was already reported and fixed on GitHub!

It does have a sporadic habit of logging me out of my account, otherwise she works like a charm!

latest update always asks for master password despite enabling pin code. I had to install an older version.

Constantly logs me out and then fails to load when I log back in.

Edit: Was fixed a month later, so I increased my rating.

Very good in many respects. But - don't forget to Save new or edited entries. Too often I've lost a password because I forgot to save it, and there is NO reminder, which is a significant omission. There are other minor annoyances but nothing major comes to mind.

Animation is very laggy and slows down the user, there must an option to disable all the animations.

I like using Bitwarden, but it's unfortunate that logging in to Bitwarden on the addon doesn't work with FIDO2 or WebAuthn.

It does work in the android app instead of the addon.
