Caris Indeed Import privacy policy

Purpose and access
The extension helps authorized recruiting staff review and transfer Indeed candidates and available resumes to Caris HR at hr.ucg.bm. It requires existing Indeed employer and Caris staff/admin access. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Indeed or Mozilla.

Information handled
When you capture a candidate page, the extension reads candidate names, available contact details and locations, application dates, job titles and status, candidate and job identifiers, source links, profile content and available resume files. A resume may contain additional personal information supplied by the applicant. Your signed-in Caris email and available roles are read to verify the destination account.

Storage and transfer
Captured information and resume bytes are saved in this browser profile for review and interrupted-work recovery. Resume copies may also be saved to Downloads. When you choose to import or attach resumes, candidate details are sent over HTTPS to Caris HR and resume files are uploaded to its private Supabase storage. Authorized Caris users can access imported records according to their permissions. Imported resumes enter the existing Caris processing workflow, which can extract information and use the workspace’s configured AI services. The extension does not independently send data to an AI service. Contact your Caris administrator for processing and retention arrangements.

Your controls
Capture is initiated from the extension. Automatic profile fetching and resume capture can be turned off. You can edit and select candidates or stop a batch. Import requires review and an explicit action. This is not an unattended account-wide application feed. Clear queue removes the extension’s saved queue and cached resume bytes. Delete downloaded copies separately. Clearing or uninstalling does not delete records already imported to Caris; ask your workspace administrator about access, correction or deletion. Queues do not sync across users or browsers.

Permissions and data use
Website access in this release is limited to employers.indeed.com and hr.ucg.bm. Scripting reads selected pages and performs authorized imports through the signed-in Caris tab. Storage preserves progress; Downloads saves resume copies. Existing sessions are used without reading or storing passwords or session cookies. The extension does not collect unrelated browsing history, advertising identifiers or analytics telemetry. Data is used for candidate import and resume attachment, not sold, used for advertising, or used to determine creditworthiness or lending eligibility.
