While at first it may not seem to work with an library or art gallery collections, you can often click through to an enlarged screen version of the work, and it will then be able to see it. I've found it works fine on several museum and art websites, enabling one to download public-domain images that should have been free to download already (by the taxpayers who've already paid for them).

As I desperately needed this photo to extract the Intel 1103 DRAM die photo at a high resolution so I can teach my students, this extension was a godsend when a website is silly enough to not provide a direct download link.

This add-on is VERY underrated...
It has saved me SO MUCH hassle by basically doing something so many add-ons promised they can do but basically could not (Thus I had to do much of it completely manual).
I can not thank you enough!

Immensely useful, as someone who works in the field of out-of-copyright archival imagery, that does not belong behind paywalls or other obfuscations.

The Dezoomify addon is very useful and practical.
