by VenomousVamp, 6 years agoWhat a wonderful little add-on! ^_^
I have been using this for a few years and it's the only YouTube video downloader that I've come across that is simple to use, doesn't have the need to install any other rubbish or bloatware, is Ad-Free, delivers everything it promises and works a treat! It's extremely small & efficient and places a very handy "Download As" button underneath the video. Can be used for Free but Well worth the donation/purchase for the premium features. A lot of other addons claim to offer you similar features but never really do and are usually buggy or stop working altogether after a while.
TIP: After donating, Bookmark the Videodroid Thanks page or save the link, because if you delete all your cookies you will need to revisit the page to re-enable the addon's pro features. If you ever have any problems, or FireFox has just updated and something's not working, make sure you check all privacy & cookie-related settings and also make sure that other addons aren't interfering. If all is as it should be but it's still not working, the developer is only an email away and always happy to help :)

- Rated 1 out of 5by Zach, 10 hours agoWas a really good plug in and i used it a lot.
I payed for the premium version with pleasure.
But then, after 2 years, the premium version isnt working anymore for me.
So I ask the creator why and he told me that i need to pay again.
Like i already bought the premium version but then i need to buy it a second time ?
Im now using Notube wich is really nice too if you want. - Rated 5 out of 5by Window217, 11 hours ago

- Thank you for making it so much more sane to download videos (in my case, usually instructional videos that are more convenient to have readily available on my desktop than to hunt them down again on-line). Your labor is much appreciated for making such an easily used add-on which readily converts items to a wide variety of formats, whether video or audio, relatively intuitively.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Min Headroom, 3 days agoThis extension breaks when used along "PocketTube: Youtube Subscription Manager". Even the small icon on the toolbar does not show any link.
Fix: Just disable PocketTube when you want the download, and enable it later.
Anyway, this is an amazing extension. Amazing support, Dishita.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Droiyan7 (Yi, JoonHo), 4 days agoIt would be great if there were a setting to download only the original audio (especially OPUS MP4) instead of MP3.
